About this cottage rental

Imagine your perfect country getaway, "The Old Bank" sits right in the heart of the pretty Cotswold village of Mickleton with two great pubs, village store and two well-stocked farm shops for all your local products, food and wine plus Three Ways Hotel home to the "locally-famous" pudding club and restaurant.

The beautiful house has an amazing 140 foot long garden with a large dining terrace and garden sofa area, superfast wifi throughout, lots of games and books and is perfect for families and friends.

There is so much to explore within close distance, so bring your wellies and walking boots for the beautiful country walks on your doorstep including to the historic Kifsgate Court. The roaring fires at the amazing local pubs and great food and wine at local restaurants from the Kings Arms in the village to The Churchill in nearby Paxford, plus a wide array in Chipping Campden just five minutes away.

The beautiful villages of the North Cotswolds such as Stow on the Wold, Chipping Camden and Bourton on the Water, plus Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon are all just a short drive away.

Mickleton is easy to get to and is only 30 minutes drive from M40 motorway that links London with the heart of England. The local railway station at Honeybourne has direct intercity services to London, Oxford, Hereford and Worcester, as well as each of the Cotswold line stations, and Birmingham Airport is a short 45-minute drive away.

Beautiful house with everything you could need for a pleasant stay in the Cotswolds. Comfortable home with excellent amenities and a great host. The village itself is lovely (definitely check out the butchers and local pub) and within easy striking distance of countryside walks or a trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon. I would highly recommend - we're already talking about a return visit!

A really well kept property, clean with great aminities. The garden was secure for our dog and the central location made it perfect for walks, with a great pub just up the road. I would also recommend the butchers, which was also close by

The property is in a great location for small Morrisons supermarket (2mins away) fantastic pub (the Kings Arms) and Hotel with restaurant. The kitchen has both an Aga cooker and great hob and oven unit. The garden is great if you have dogs, completely secure and private. A few minutes from the front door you have access to some lovely walks. We walked to Chipping Campden in just over an hour across clearly marked footpaths. Great for dogs. The only issue I had was with VRBO's communication portal, I struggled to get replies from the owner due to "broken links" but we got there in the end. We were a party of six adults and 3 retrievers and didn't feel too cramped and parking isn't an issue. I highly recommend the property for a Cotswold retreat. You are perfectly positioned for visit many of the lovely villages & towns of the Cotswolds.
