About this villa rental
Villa Pikorua is a fantastic property, set in a mountain location just a short distance from Bedar village and overlooking the Mediterranean coast at the famous resort of Mojacar. Villa Pikorua is legally registered as a casa rural, with the Junta de Andalucia and complies fully with all the legal regulations required by them. The villa is furnished to a very high standard throughout. It has a large, sunny and light open plan lounge dining room which leads onto a covered terrace area with spectacular views on the Sierra Cabrera mountain range in the distance. There are 3 bedrooms on ground level, 2 with a shared bathroom and the 3rd with en-suite shower room. The master bedroom is on the 1st floor with en-suite bathroom and large terrace. There is an additional, large private terrace on the upper floor. Outside is a large private pool surrounded by an ample terrace with sun loungers, outside seating and a table tennis table for guests to enjoy. The garden is completely fenced for safety and security.
The accommodation is set on 2 levels with 3 bedrooms on ground level. The property is ideal for families with young children as well as for people with restricted mobility. The property has air conditioning in the bedrooms and main living area as well as central heating throughout.

The Kitchen:
This is an exceptionally well fitted kitchen, with a wide range of appliances including a fan assisted oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster juicer etc. The washing machine is located in the boiler room attached to the property.
The Living room/Dining room:
This very spacious, air-conditioned open plan living and dining area contains 3 sofas and a dining table with 6 chairs. Patio doors flood the room with sunshine, warmth and light as well as providing direct access to the garden and pool area.
Outside:
The very spacious grounds, with truly spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, contain a beautiful, private (10m x 5m approximately) swimming pool, a terrace with sun loungers, table tennis table, barbeque and a shaded seating & dining area.
Optional extras:
At Villa Pikorua we offer several optional extras and services for guests - several of which are unique to us. These extras can be pre- booked or arranged with us when you arrive.
Extras include: Visiting massage therapist, Reiki therapist, Personal Trainer, Yoga teacher, Pilates teacher, Nanny/childminding service, cook, extra mid stay cleans and additional linen changes. We can book excursions for our visitors including sea fishing trips, golf and horse riding etc.
We also offer, by arrangement, a chauffeur service for guests who wish to be transported from and back to their airport. Guests who arrange their own transport will be greeted upon arrival at Villa Pikorua by one of our team.
We can provide a welcome pack if you wish, for €20 plus the cost of shop on arrival. You simply send us a list of what you would like with the quantities and we will have it delivered ready for your arrival.

Bedar village is 5 minutes away by car. This charming and very picturesque village has several small, family run shops and restaurants, a bank, chemist, and Doctor.
Further afield at about 20 minutes away lie the famous coastal resorts of Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera and Villaricos. All are well worth a visit and we are happy to recommend other places to go and things to see if you wish.
Numerous world class beaches are within a 20 minute drive, including family beaches, those offering water sports and some with designated nudist areas.

Alicante - 2 hours.
Malaga - 3 hours.

We loved this Villa - it's fantastic. The pool is big for a private villa, it's around 6'3 deep at one end, with steps for easy access at the shallow end. It's beautifully maintained, spotless clean and kept in full working order. providing us with endless fun during the sweltering hot days.The outdoor area is lovely, a huge patio with covered area including extendable awnings so you can add more shade on hot days. There is a gas barbecue which we used.Two of the bedrooms have en suite facilities, making it ideal for couples sharing. All bedrooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and air conditioned.Kitchen is modern with everything you would need, outdoor crockery is also provided to avoid breakages around the pool.Hosts Sue and Ray, are really helpful. Due to our late arrival time, Sue offered to do a essential shop for us in advance, so we wouldn't have to find a supermarket open in the evening. There was contact via Whats-app throughout our stay with helpful info and a couple of good recommendations for local restaurants etc.Car is a must-have as this place is up in the hills, and not accessible from public transport. There is a narrow "mountain road" up to the villa, we had no problems with it at all (it's a tarmac road not a trail) and plenty of private parking. Nearby, Mojacar has a km's of nice beach, with bars and restaurants, it's a 15min drive away, we really liked it there.Highly recommended!!

Wow!! This property had everything you could wish for…
We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay. The Villa is spacious (we were a group of 7), the pool area is just perfect and the upstairs sun terrace (where I did yoga on most days) is just fabulous.
Fully equipped (and more) kitchen, spacious lounge/dining and bedrooms. Welcome goodies, all towels provided (bath, pool,
Beach) + toiletries made for a lighter luggage.
Such a wonderful holiday, days spent in the villa enjoying the pool area, combined with out and about in Mojacar/Gurracha made for a perfect location with a car. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a villa based holiday, who doesn’t mind driving too and from locations.

Lovely villa hosted by the fabulous Sue and Ray who looked after us superbly during our stay. We have visited Bedar many times and we thoroughly enjoyed this year at Villa Pikorua. Look forward to returning very soon.

What can i say about villa pikorua, great views, idyllic, quiet, friendly helpful owner. We were accommodated to check in ealriler than 4pm due to early flight and check out late on last day also. Thank you so much for that sue. The beaches are nearby and lovely restaurant and tapas close by. The villa has all amenities you cpuld need and more to cook and clean. The pool and outside space is really good. We had a great holiday: 4 adults and 3 children.
