About this house rental
Welcome to our little slice of Heaven. Our 3 level lake cottage is a perfect family retreat. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath (walk-in showers) home with a twin loft and 1 day bed for sleeping up to 8 people ( 8 is 2 person per bed, 2 on sofa sleeper, and 1 in loft and 1 in day bed). It is conveniently located just minutes north of Camdenton near Bridal Cave or on the 11MM of the Niangua Arm by water. This is a lake front house with actual shoreline (deep water) and a dock with two empty slips 10x20, this is not just lake access. Located on a quiet street. The driveway will hold 5 vehicles or 3 vehicles with 2 trailers attached.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, and a variety of cooking gadgets. We keep sugar, flour, oils, and spices on had so you don't have to worry about the basics. We do have washer and dryers. Basic laundry supplies are available.
The walk in level has a parlor that has one futon and the twin loft bed, bathroom with washer/dryer, and lake view bedroom with a full size bed and walk out deck.
The second level includes a spacious living room with lake view, a futon, sofa, and kitchen with dining area.
The third level includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, bathroom, and a walk out door to the lake. Laundry service is available. Owner lives next door, so you will be able to have quick communication if needed.
We have Wi-fi and our TV's are equipped with YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix, and more. Cell service is spotty in the house but good outside.
A great house for 2 family's with children to share. It's an off season paradise for fishermen, minutes by water from the Larry Gale public access ramp.

Dock Rules:
1. Please use good judgment and practicel safety first when on the dock or in the water. Use at your own risk.
2. Adult supervision for children under 16 years of age.
3. All children must wear life jackets.
4. Please put dock ladder back to an upright position when done.
5. Shoes are recommended unless in the water.
6. Renters and their guests are responsible for bringing their own life jackets and flotation devices to use on the dock. These items are not provided.
NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.

The hostess was very responsive to messages. She allowed us to stay a little longer on the last day so we could wait out a storm when we needed to load our boat. The location on the lake was great. Having a covered boat dock was amazing. The inside of the home was clean and a quintessential, quirky lake house. The kitchen was well equipped. However, our stay was very rainy and the roof was leaking in multiple spots and has been for a while based on the damage on the ceiling. The provided trash cans were not large enough for our group of 8 for 3 days. The dock, decks, walkway down to dock/lake could use some maintenance and powerwashing. We did enjoy our stay but we had to monitor the leaky ceiling throughout the weekend and were concerned with mold/mildew. Rub rails and cleats are missing off of dock, so if you bring a boat, be sure to bring extra bumpers and ropes to tie up. With a little TLC, this place would be absolutely perfect.
