About this villa rental
A Bright New eco-stone villa with private pool near to the village Gerani of Rethymnon, with breathtaking view to the Cretan sea and the village. Villa Aeolos offers luxury stay in an Eco-friendly way of living.Villa has solar panels using energy from the sun and this feature makes it unique.
Aeolos villa abstains 10km from Rethymnon and is 10 minute drive. From the Village of Gerani, villa abstains 1 km and from the intersection of Gerani of National Road Chania- Heraklinon abstains 4km (5 minute drive).
This Villa is constructed entirely of stone in traditional style with interior arches and stone staircases, by the engineer owner and is totally compatible with nature.Exists in an area of 2000 sq. m. with olives trees, herbs and vegetables. The Villa accommodates 6 people in beds and 1 more in sofa bed in the living room.
On the ground floor there are : the kitchen with veranda south, the dining room with veranda north ,W.C, the living room and the semi outdoor .
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms: The main with two single beds which can be united as one double bed , its own bathroom and a large balcony with an amazing sea view. A second bedroom with one double bed and, it's own balcony by sea view. Also in this floor there is a separate bathroom.
On the second floor there is the third bedroom with mountain view.
In front of the Villa there is the swimming pool with sun beds and an external bathroom in basement.
Outside, at the garden there are: barbeque, outdoor furniture, a large parking place and alarm system. Also, there is so free space outside for walking or joking.
Free Wi-Fi is provided , in all places even to the pool.Ecological elements: The Villa is fully equipped with energy class better than compatible A++ appliances. There is also a large tank that gathers rain waters from roof tops to irrigate the gardens. All faucets and flash tanks have the possibility of saving water . Also the villa has a garden with biological vegetables available for our customers, com posters for vegetable residues and recycling bins .
The village of Gerani is a typical Cretan village , it has taverns, supermarkets, pastry shop,souvlaki shops, traditional coffee shops and pharmacy . Nearest beach at 2 Km. Chania airport is about 60 Km far way . Heraklion airport is about 85 Km far away.

Joanna is a very welcoming and incredibly helpful host. Our flight was delayed and we had problems with our hire car booking with Europcar - they wouldnt allow us to move it to the following day, so we had to cancel or incur the full cost as a no- show fee.I texted Joanna from Manchester airport asking for taxi and car hire recommendations. Within 20mins Joanna had arranged a minibus to pick us up from the airport at midnight and a hire car to be delivered to the villa the next day.When we arrived at the villa, Joanna had also left some food in the fridge for us.The villa was beautiful, very clean and had stunning views. We had a fabulous holiday - thank you Joanna.

This is a great home for a family or group of friends. The view from the pool and terrace is exceptional and the local town has some really great restaurants. It is a beautiful home, well located to explore this great island!! I can't say enough about Joanna, her communication with us was exceptional. She gave us great recommendations and was kind enough to leave us supper for our late arrival. We were so lucky to have met her as well. I will be back :)

The villa was fantastic and in an excellent location to explore the beauty of Crete. The local village has surprising restaurants and the near by town of Rethymno is amazing day and night.
The villa was wonderfully clean and Joanna an excellent host. We would highly recommend staying here!

Aeolus is a very well equipped villa, with great views overlooking the northern coast. It was quiet and relaxing nestled into the hills, yet in striking distance of the south of the island and the west. The swimming pool was well cared for and very clean. Joanna and he dad could not have been more welcoming.
