My vacation home, L'Orée des Mages, is located in the Gard department of Occitanie, in the small village of Saint-Julien-de-Cassagnas 30500, part of the Alès metropolitan area, 16 minutes from the city, next to a disused railroad line slated to be converted into a greenway.

A bakery and a grocery store, offering local products, are a 10-minute walk from the house—perfect for getting some fresh air in the morning before breakfast and bringing back crispy croissants and fresh bread for everyone to enjoy. Les Mages, 6 km away, and Saint-Ambroix, 7 km away, have everything you need.

The Alès shopping district and the hospital are both a 16-minute drive from the house.

At the foot of the Cévennes, L’Orée des Mages and its large, fenced-in property will let you experience the kind of vacation that leaves you with stars in your eyes.
