This house is historically significant because it was built for Catherine Culp, daughter of Henry Culp, and was close enough for her to walk to her mother's home, situated on the famous Culp's Hill. With this ideal location, you can walk to the Lincoln Town Square, the battlefields, Gettysburg College, the shops and restaurants. Yet the street is quiet at night and you can enjoy the peacefulness of the gracious porches and the lovely back garden. Absolutely beautiful property. We loved the look of the property and the private parking space was awesome. It was so nice to just step out of the house and be on the main strip in minutes. Appeared to be in a very safe area. The only negative for me was the beds. If you like an extremely firm mattress you are good. Overall a very nice place.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the town square and good restaurants. Host was very accommodating. This is our 2nd time at this house, we will be back.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and decor of the house. The house was furnished with everything we could have asked for and we did not have to buy any kitchen items. The house was clean inside and out with the yard being decorative and inviting. We enjoyed the stay and encourage anyone looking for a Victorian stay with places within walking distance to consider this house.
