Rustic house, called Casa da Estalagem, located in the village of Fataúnços, at the foot of Monte de Lafão, heart of Lafões. The village is very rich in emblazoned houses.
You can enjoy a bucolic environment, walking paths and also enjoy the therapeutic qualities of the waters, in one of the most prestigious thermal centers in Iberia.
Also noteworthy is the gastronomic richness of the region, where you can enjoy a countless variety of conventual sweets and a wide range of Restaurants and Tasquinhas.

barbecue, terrace, garden furniture, parking, individual garden, mountain views, 200 m2 of garden and shared swimming pool.

We arrived at the delightful village of Fatauncos and were made feel very welcome and at home in Jorge's comfortable and cosy cottage. The lovely quiet garden was our favourite place for meals and to enjoy a fabulous Portuguese wine in the evening. There are many places to visit and activities to get involved in around the area. The Thermal Spas at S. Pedro do Sul are only 3 kms away. Further afield is the National Park of Estrella and also Regua on the beautiful Douro River where you can take the scenic return train journey to Pinhao. These places are about 1 1/2 hours away. All in all it was the perfect holiday spot for us. Jorge and his mother Alice, were kind and generous. A health problem brought our holiday to a standstill. It would have been so much worse if not for the consideration and help from Jorge.
