Come and relax in our house located on top of a hill, on a fenced and wooded plot of 4000 m2. The area is quiet, peaceful and typical with its paths lined with clapas (dry stone walls).
For many years, we have been sharing this nature with squirrels, birds, two chickens, flowers, olive trees, thyme, rosemary, and we strive to respect this unspoilt and privileged scrubland environment.
Outside, you will have a pleasant swimming pool (fenced) nestled in the vegetation, a ping-pong table, multiple places to relax. A small kiosk under the trees will shelter your snacks, your aperitifs or your family meals. Finally, a hundred meters from the property, a petanque court will allow you to tease the jack.
In the evening, when the cicadas are silent, you can take quiet walks on the surrounding paths, between the old dry stone walls.
In summer, the location of the land generally allows a temperature difference - downwards - of two degrees compared to the centre of Nîmes. The nights are mostly cool and relaxing.
As for the interior of the house, it is pleasant and functional.
On the first floor, the oldest part houses a typical kitchen opening onto a shaded outdoor terrace. A large living room opening onto a bioclimatic veranda, a small separate TV room, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a toilet, a storeroom.
On the first floor, four bedrooms, two of which open onto a terrace to the west, a bathroom, a second toilet.
This accommodations are ideally located to discover the region:
- The centre of Nîmes and its superb Roman monuments are a ten-minute drive away. Tired of the car? Leave it safely on the enclosed grounds, and go down to town in a minibus. The stop is twenty metres from the gate! Are you a fan of walking? It will take you 45 minutes on foot to reach the centre.
- about an hour's drive away, you can walk along the banks of the Camargue ponds, admire their fauna, swim on the beaches of the coast, hike in the mountains of the Cévennes. You will taste unique cities and sites such as the Pont du Gard, Uzès, Arles, Avignon, Montpellier, as well as many picturesque villages.
