Pelican Beach Resort 1102 - 11th floor 1 Bedroom 2 Bathroom 873 sq.ft. condo with Wifi, Smart/Cable TVs, Free Parking, Beach Chairs, Umbrella and Cooler aiming best class service is right on the beach with great views of Gulf Coast from the balcony. No road crossings, just go down and enjoy our private beach.

This condo features;
* Stainless range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. Vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, hair dryers.
* Coffee machine (drip+K-cup), toaster, blender, kettle, full kitchenware
* Master bedroom has a king size bed with a 50" HDTV with HD Cable, direct door to master bathroom
* Hallway has bunk beds for sleeping 2. 2nd bathroom is accessed from hallway
* Sofa in the living room is a sleep sofa which converts into a queen bed
* HD Cable TV (Cox Ultimate channels) and high speed Wi-Fi
* Coin operated laundromat on the same floor
* Two beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler for the use of our guests. You also have an option to rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. IMPORTANT: Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas. Private umbrellas are only allowed behind the rows of rental umbrellas.
* Keyless entry door lock system, no keys during your stay with your unique code. You can also set up your own 3-6 digit code.
* 2 beach towels (Turkish style easy dry), bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, make-up cleaners
Your welcome package will have startup supply of bottled water, coffee, toilet papers, travel size shampoo, hand soaps in both bathrooms, paper towel, dish liquid, new dish sponge, dishwasher(2) and laundry(1) tablets.

HOUSE AND RESORT RULES
- 1 parent/adult guardian over 25 years of age is required for every 3 unmarried guests under 25 years of age to check-in.
- Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas.
- No smoking anywhere in the building, unit or on the balcony (except designated area on the ground floor).
- Pets are not allowed. We all love our furry friends, but unfortunately HOA does not allow any pets in the resort premises.
- Rates are quoted for occupancy of 4 including children/infants and extra person fees will apply per night er person if occupancy is increased over 4 after booking. Visitors are not allowed to the resort.
- We do not allow any towels (except beach towels), sheets, bedspreads to be removed from our condo at any time.
- Guest will be required to e-sign our rental contract upon booking. There shall not be any terms which are not included in our listing and policies here.

This trip exceeded our expectations! Our condo was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast, spaghetti for dinner one night and used the grill for hot dogs and brats one day. We had four teenagers with us and they had an absolute blast! We always felt safe and very relaxed our whole stay!

The good: Location was great. Beautiful view from the room. Right on the beach and in a great part of Destin. However, if you want to enjoy the beach at the property, make sure you reserve beach chairs weeks in advance otherwise you are stuck way in the back. The pools are nice, busy, but not crazy packed. We always found chairs easily.
The bad: Old, worn out mattresses and pillows. For the price of this condo, I was really expecting to have a comfortable, decent place to sleep at night. However, this was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The master bedroom bed has a worn out mattress with a foam topper and a piece of plywood between the mattress and the box spring. We realized this night one and had it been a hotel, we would have checked out. Seriously, a piece of plywood?! This bed was terribly uncomfortable. In addition, the mattresses in the bunk beds were no better, old and worn out where you can feel the springs inside. The pillow selection was a joke with lumpy old pillows that all need to be tossed and replaced. There are plenty of mattress stores in Destin. It’s time to spend a little of your time and profits and go buy new mattresses so your guests can enjoy their stay. Besides the beds, the bathrooms really need updating. The other negatives are related to the resort and not the actual unit. The fitness center was small, poorly equipped, and had old machines that need to be replaced. No more than 2-3 people can be there at a time. Very limited laundry.
