Visit Istria, one of the most beautiful regions in Croatia, and enjoy the sunny weather while the air smells of lavender and you hear nothing but birdsong. In the middle of the picturesque Istrian landscape, surrounded by enchanting nature, you will find the historic town of Buje, which was settled as early as the Bronze Age. This hilly area was planted with olive groves ages ago, and this has remained unchanged to this day. The location in which the town is situated guarantees a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but for those who feel like visiting the attractions of northwestern Istria, Umag is only a short drive away from Buje. Numerous historical sights, miles of coastline, Venetian houses and baroque churches are just a sample of what Umag offers its visitors.

Just one word describes this house; perfect. It is a large, modern house. All rooms have AC. Pool is great. Sofa in the living room fits 5 easily. We stayed there with 6 but there is beds for 8 persons. We used the BBQ a lot. We streamed our own tv channels to the tv. Location is great for trips to Portoroz-Piran, Motovun, Groznjan and even Porec and Rovinj are within 30 minute drive. Supermarkets Lidl and Spar in Umag are a 15 minute drive but there is also a Spar in Buje at a 7 minute drive. Nearest restaurants in Buje also at 7 minutes. The pizzeria also did take away. The owner speaks German and her son speaks English. I highly recommend this house for Istria.
