Come vacation with us at one of the most convenient beachside locations in the exclusive Amelia Island Plantation! Walking into 2003 Beach Wood guests will immediately appreciate the owner's stylish beach decor and the two-level villa's spacious layout. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this property allows families to easily spread out and settle in to enjoy a getaway to the beach!
The gated Amelia Island Plantation (AIP) is a picturesque 1,340-acre coastal community that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP.
This fully-equipped villa is laid out like a townhouse, with the kitchen, dining area, living space, laundry room, and a half bath on the downstairs level and the three bedrooms and their attached full baths on the upstairs level. The large living/dining area opens onto a private patio with wonderful nature views and a path on the left leading down to a walkway heading to The Shops at Omni Amelia Island.
Stroll right across the street to the brand-new beach access added last year! Reaching the ocean is more convenient than ever as guests take the new boardwalk out past the Sunken Forest and to the sand. The nearest Beach Wood pool is a quick stroll away in a secluded cove and if guests want to venture a little further, the other two Beach Wood pools are accessible to them as well.
Free high-speed Wifi is available to all our guests, which is especially helpful for those working remotely or attending a conference at the Omni hotel across the street.
When guests want to grab a quick bite to eat, rent bikes, get a spa treatment, peruse art galleries, play putt-putt, visit a nature center, or even attend church on Sunday mornings, they can walk to The Shops at Omni Amelia Island. Our villa is actually the closest one in the Beach Wood complex to this old-Florida shopping village area!
For those looking to adventure further afield, the scenic drive north on A1A will take you to the charming Fernandina Beach Historic District, where you can find amazing dining options, unique boutiques, a community theater, and art galleries. Drive south on A1A to visit coastal nature preserves like Little Talbot Island State Park. Many guests enjoy the easy biking, hiking, kayaking, and birding opportunities there.
As part of this rental, a custom digital guidebook is provided with thorough property information and our local area guide sharing favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.
*Please note only dogs are considered and they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required per dog and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.
**Please be advised this private property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to club members and their guests. We loved our stay in this Beach Wood Villa at Amelia. Great location with easy access to the beach and the Shops at Omni Amelia Island. Kitchen, bedrooms, and layout worked great for a family of five. Pools, miles of beach, shops, restaurants, fishing ponds, and trails for teenagers to explore while mom and dad relax on the beach. We'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at this property a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. The property is a short walk across the street and down the boardwalk past the Omni to the beach and was decorated beautifully. The only complaint that we had was that the unit was in need of a deep cleaning - the floors were pretty dirty when we arrived and we noticed a number of cobwebs on lamps and tables.

Wonderful stay. Perfect location directly across from the hotel where I was attending a conference and an easy walk to the beach and the shopping area. Plenty of space to spread out and nice updated look to the villa.
Both bedrooms with king size beds were very comfortable. Teens complained of sinking mattresses on the twin beds so those may need to be replaced. My only other suggestion is a simple one-- add a cutting board to the otherwise well outfitted kitchen.
Hope we have another opportunity to rent here!
