Overall this was a good apartment. The location was near the metro, with a restaurant right downstairs and a few others right around the block and many more with a bit of a walk. It's a student area & therefore a little run-down but active; we never felt unsafe. One bedroom had a large bed, very comfortable. The second bed was small, a bit cramped but workable, best for a child or small adult. It was a large, sunny place with windows you can open and a small balcony that you could access. It had a small dryer rack & also a large but broken dryer rack. We liked having both stairs & an elevator. When we first arrived, it turned out that the lockbox in the apartment building did not have the keys. The hosts forgot to tell us they'd moved the keys to a location across the street.That was rather stressful since we had traveled quite a distance and it was in the evening. However, they were very communicative, sent videos, etc. The wifi didn't work and they were also very good about that, installing a new router within 24 hours, so whoever gets the apartment next will have excellent wifi! Vinny, who did the installation, was very friendly and kind, as was the host with whom I communicated via VRBO messaging. One warning: I did get pickpocketed in center city (not this area) on Metro1, which I learned is not uncommon. Take Metro4, which doesn't have those problems. And also beware friendly strangers in center city; they're probably pickpockets, sad to say.
