About this house rental
With a back patio for sitting and sipping coffee, you can enjoy the birds chirping happily all day, three of the four seasons. We’ve completely renovated this 1958 centrally-located duplex in the heart of Hickory.
A perfect blend of old and new with gorgeous refinished, original hardwood floors, and beautiful custom cabinetry. You will feel right at home with the farmhouse decor, genuine antiques, and fresh linens. The kitchen is a dream, filled with everything you need, including and old oak table and beautiful brown stoneware. Enclosed back porch is the coat drop area, but with a desk, chair, and lamp also serves as the perfect spot to get a little work done!
Several restaurants are within walking distance, and you are just a five minute drive to Lenoir-Rhyne University, the SALT Block, Frye Regional Medical Center, and downtown shopping. The Hickory Trail is nearby, spanning 10 miles across the city, and provides bicycle and pedestrian safety while connecting popular destinations and amenities.

Our 2nd stay at the property. Super clean. Great quiet location. Always wonderful staying here. Cold waters when you arrive. Outdoor patio. Great office to work in if needed. Shampoos shower soaps in both bathrooms. It’s great having 2 full bathrooms.

Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood within Hickory. It was a delight to have your beautiful home to host our family and friends. The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We were grateful for the experience and will book again. Pax

Hickory is a very nice town. We went to hear live music downtown. The neighborhood was safe. The VRBO was clean, beautiful, and well stocked with necessities. There were plenty of towels, coffee mugs, toilet paper rolls, and pillows. Thank you!
