This Tropical Paradise is like having your own luxe resort, with all the comforts of an upscale Architectural Digest home.
The house flows into a stunning and spacious outdoor paradise with a pool surrounded by lush plants and palms. Its a tropical retreat complete with shaded tiki huts and its own sandy "beach" perfect for a "beach day" at home.
Come relax and unwind in this well-appointed, lushly landscaped, tropical Florida oasis. The main home is a classic 1,750 square foot, 2 bedroom/2 bath bungalow, that's been thoroughly and thoughtfully updated. It's complimented by a private and beautifully detailed 500 square foot, 1 bedroom/1bath guest home. Both structures overlook the courtyard and pool, whimsically framed by mature Traveler, Areca and Royal palms. The main home features a totally updated kitchen with a standard coffee maker, luxurious master bath with walk-in shower, soaking tub and a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom of the main house has a queen bed and a well-appointed adjacent second bath with walk-in tile shower. The material selections are modern, yet timeless. You'll love the Florida decor, designed to be attractive, festive and comfortable. The guest bungalow has also been updated, reflecting the same quality and attention to detail as the main home. The outdoor spaces are abundant and dreamy places to pass the time. Like the back deck Tiki Hut with soft, sectional seating, the elevated dining table overlooking the pool and courtyard, poolside lounge chairs, Tiki hut with conversation table with upholstered swivel chairs, and the Tiki Bar on the sandy poolside "beach." Multi-generational travelers will appreciate the dedicated nursery in the guest house. Remote workers, streamers and gamers will love the efficiency of high-speed internet.
Those who like to start the day by enjoying an outdoor walk will appreciate the charming cobblestone streets, leading to two neighborhood lakes that are full of bird life. Those who like to ride bikes can rent any number of bike styles from a shop only half a mile away. We're a quick ride to the Pinellas Trail, Skyway Trail, Gulfport, Clam Bayou, or downtown St. Pete via dedicated bike lanes. If you prefer to walk, there are several good options within about .5 mile, including a bistro, gluten free cafe, and a great dive bar with excellent food, along with a liquor store, pharmacy, Starbucks, and a fabulous grocery store specializing in organic foods. Treasure Island Beach is only 3 miles away and is also served by bike lanes. The city of St. Petersburg is running a new dedicated bus loop to scenic and action-packed downtown St. Pete and to St Pete Beach. The bus stop is an easy walk from the house. With such a serene home and garden to enjoy, you may never want to leave, but if you want to get out and about, this is a fabulous location to access all the best things there are to do on the beautiful peninsula of St. Petersburg, whether it be by foot, bike, bus, or car. Action packed Tampa is about 30 minutes away too, so there really is something for everyone.

This was a wonder Place to stay. This location gave you the feel of being in your own personal resort. The neighborhood was inviting and welcomed my family. We took daily walks and felt safe and secure in this neighborhood. The location is close to the beach as well as close to St. Petersburg and about a 30 min drive to Tampa. Over all I would recommend this VRBO to anyone.
