About this apartment rental
Located just 10 minutes from the Majorelle Gardens, our 85m² apartment in the heart of Guéliz welcomes you on the 3rd floor, in a quiet cul-de-sac. Recently renovated, it combines calm and modernity. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and elegantly decorated, it is equipped with all the modern necessities, including a fully equipped kitchen, for an unforgettable stay. The place is ideal to explore Marrakech in complete serenity.
The apartment is equipped with 2 bathrooms, 3 reversible air conditioners with low noise emission (hot/cold) in each room. It is also equipped with a smart TV with a bouquet of French and international channels, a free wifi connection with ADSL router, a washing machine, a safe, a drying rack, a filter coffee maker, a microwave and an iron. The high quality mattresses are equipped with memory foam. The apartment is very well equipped with kitchen utensils.
The cleaning fee includes bed linen, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay. Upon arrival, a minimum of one roll of toilet paper and hand soap will be provided.
A caretaker is present 24/7, and a parking space in the basement is available to park your vehicle (motorized gate with remote control). There is a videophone to ensure security, as well as a foldable cot for baby.
The strengths of the accommodation are the tranquility, the recent renovation, and the proximity to all amenities.

Overall, the stay was disappointing. The apartment had very limited amenities, only a hairdryer was provided. For a 4-night stay, we were given just 3 large towels and 1 small one, which wasn’t sufficient.
The bathroom in the main bedroom was not cleaned. We found hair on the sink. Which made me question if everything else is cleaned properly.
The lighting in the space was quite poor and didn’t match the photos shown online. While some toilet paper was provided, it wasn’t enough for the duration of our stay, so we had to purchase more ourselves. Additionally, the air conditioning in the main room was not working, which made things uncomfortable.
Overall, it felt like certain basic details and comforts were lacking, which took away from the experience.

The host and his father were extremely helpful throughout. Access and departure were well managed and the description given was accurate and all facilities worked well. The location is very accessible for central Marrakesh and seemed safe and quiet. We had no difficulty sleeping and were able to spend time in the apartment with ease and comfort.

This is an honest review and I understand that this is someone's livelyhood, however... The apartment is well situated in Gueliz and is moderately appointed. It is comfortable to come back to after a busy day in the Medina. We were here for a month and perhaps noticed more then someone who may be in for a week. Items that were promised were not delivered. The door handle broke off in our hands and we noticed the patio door didn't lock as well as many leaks in the plumbing. All but the patio doors were fixed quickly. The apartment needs love, light bulbs need replacing, old pillows, broken teapots and cooking utensils, but again some people staying for a week may not use these things. I would recommend this place, it just needs love and care. Emeric was quick to respond both before and during our stay. Sadly when we left the father in law tried to get us to pay for the door handle and the patio door (we didn't break either of these items),that were broken. We are careful people in our 60's, not party animals.
Again, we would recommend Emeric and this apartment...With a little care this would be a 5 without question.
