About this apartment rental
Our three-sided courtyard is located in the heart of Steinhöfel, easily accessible via the village’s main street. A wonderful vacation rental just a few steps from Steinhöfel Castle—freshly renovated with access to a terrace in the inner courtyard for cozy moments, as well as its own wood-burning stove where you can relax in front of a crackling fire. The former library is specially certified by “Reisen für alle” as fully accessible for guests with hearing impairments and partially accessible for guests with mobility impairments.
The accommodation
The former library is a small annex between the main house and the barn, with its own entrance from the courtyard. The large bedroom and living area is furnished with a king-size bed featuring high-quality mattresses. The very comfortable couch can be folded down to provide sleeping space for two additional guests, though this does make the bedroom a bit cramped. The best part, however, is using the couch and chairs to enjoy the crackling fire in the fireplace! A modern kitchen with a seating area and a brand-new shower room round out the amenities. If you’d like, you can enjoy balmy evenings in the courtyard—you’re also welcome to use our fire pit or grill/smoker upon request.
In our farm store, a wide variety of food products from us and over 70 local producers are available around the clock. Access is via the same door code as for the accommodation—this will be sent to you via email and text message one day before arrival.
We heat the property in accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Environment Agency. You’re welcome to light the fireplace for 5€ per box of wood.
Guest access
A private entrance ensures maximum privacy for our guests. Thanks to SmartLock, you can check in at any time without a key; the code is generated and sent to you before your arrival. The vacation rental is located in a small annex provided for your exclusive use. A parking spot on the lawn is available.
Additional important information
Our farm is 130 years old, with some historic cobblestones in the courtyard. Therefore, it is unfortunately only partially suitable for guests with limited mobility.
