This makes the apartment adaptable for families, small groups or those who like to travel on their own. Nice and cozy 2br apartment about 15 mins away from downtown. Not the greatest neighborhood, but the apt itself was very nice inside. Shower was awesome! AC struggles during 90-100 degree days, but that was our only concern. Otherwise, host was very friendly and responsive. If you're in Charleston for business or pleasure, I would definitely recommend John's place over a hotel.

Overall everything was very clean, host was responsive, however the AC did not seem to be working at all and it was 90 degrees outside so the house never got below 83 so that was a bit of an inconvenience but the fans kept it bearable throughout the night and we weren’t there much during the day

Visiting for Easter weekend and the unit was close to restaurants, bars, Park Circle and downtown Charleston. The beds were very comfortable, nice furnishings and adequately stocked. My only issue was that the description of the place did not mention that this was an apartment shared with other units not a single house. The building was older so the walls were thin and you could hear other dogs barking, but everyone respected quit hours. For the most part, we felt safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed our stay.

The firefly is not walkable from this property. Although it backs up to it, you have to walk all the way around to the front entrance to get in. Both trash cans in front of the house were overflowing upon arrival so I ended up taking my trash with me. Interior of the place is very nice and modern but not really sure how safe the neighborhood is.
