About this apartment rental
The Kiel Canal is just a ferry ride away. The beach is 600 meters away, but we’ve also thought of guests who don’t like sand on their feet: the public bathing facility, located 500 meters away, is open for you.
Or maybe you just like to watch ships? The Kiel Canal is the busiest man-made waterway in the world. From the Möltenort War Memorial, you can experience the “big ships” up close—they pass by just a few meters away. For 2026, 200 cruise ships are scheduled to call at Kiel. But the two large Baltic Sea ferries—Stena and Color Line—are also a delight to watch every morning and evening. Perhaps you’d even like to take a short cruise from Kiel to Oslo? The cruise departs at 2:00 p.m. and you’ll be back in Kiel at 9:00 a.m. two days later! As you can see: A TRIP TO HEIKENDORF WITH
IS WELL WORTH IT—YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
P.S.: During the May–September season (€1.50 in April and October), the municipality of Heikendorf charges a tourist tax of €3.00 per guest per day, payable in cash on site. In exchange, you’ll receive the Ostseecard, which entitles you to many discounts.
