This beautiful cabin is the perfect place to get away. With two wide open proches, surrounded by peaceful wilderness, this cabin is the place to relax away from your daily life or between adventures. Named for the stunning light show our fireflies put on every year, Firefly Cabin is perfect for the whole family. It is just minutes away from Lake Nottely, several hiking trails, and everything else that makes the Southern Appalachia the best vacation get away. Loved being in the woods and seeing deer everywhere. Very nice to have washer & dryer -- first time I've ever come home from a trip with laundry already done! Wished we had all been younger and more agile though. The stairs were all intimidating. Missed out on enjoying the firepit because the walkway looked unsafe for us. The cabin itself was great though, we were comfortable, had plenty of room, and enjoyed being together.

I am inclined to say the cabin was a little distanced from the various activities and locations we visited, but that is true of anywhere in the mountains. In all honesty, this cabin was the ideal location, and we intend to return here as often as we can book the place. The cleanliness, the host, the whole cabin sets the standard for what every cabin rental should be.
