The Space:
At Lake LBJ’s waterfront, enjoy outdoor fun and relaxation with a large backyard, covered boat dock, jet ski ramps, lake swimming and fishing, a boat launch just a mile away, and lots of sunset moments! The Shorewood is like a big wet and wild playground for kids ages 5 to 95!
You’ll have lots of luminous living space over two stories, 3,600 sq ft, and 3 separate living rooms to spread out and get comfortable at The Shorewood home. This lakeside oasis is perfect for a getaway weekend with friends, enjoying quality time with family, or hosting a small work retreat.
When it’s time to dine, The Shorewood has everything you need to cook like a chef and eat like a king. The kitchen’s recently remodeled with modern appliances and a separate dining room that seats 8 comfortably. There’s also a breakfast bar with 4 barstools and 3 grills for cooking up the catch of the day.
Enjoy lake views while eating outside on the wrap-around balcony, lakeside dining table, or at one of the seven barstools at the cabana bar! Enjoy a sunset toast from your second-story balcony at the end of each fun-filled day, or relax with a cocktail and the view!
If you need to squeeze in some remote work, you’ll have a dedicated workspace (desk) in the queen bedroom, plus reliable Wi-Fi at the property. There’s a Smart TV with cable and Roku for relaxing downtime moments on the sofa. For indoor fun, you can play Monopoly in the game room, enjoy a Ping Pong battle, or maybe tell ghost stories at night in the Bunk Room.
When exhausted from a fun-filled day, have a restful night in any of The Shorewood’s spacious bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (one with a king bed and one with a queen), one king master bedroom downstairs with Bedroom 4, the bunk room, attached. The bunk room is spacious, with 4 full beds, a queen sleeper sofa, and a big TV. It’s a great room for the kids!
Traveling with your furry friend? Bring them along to enjoy the lake with you! We allow pets as long as their combined weight is no more than 80 lbs. There’s a pet agreement you must sign and a $25 pet fee. Please let us know at booking to get authorization. Sorry, no puppies (12mos old and below).

The nearest international airport is Austin International Airport (AUS) 60 miles | 98 km away. We recommend getting around by car as there are no public transportation options.

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.
Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.
Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.
We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 25 years old or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs. A pet fee is requested once the booking is confirmed.
- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.
