About this house rental
Cocoonr is offering this charming farmhouse for rent in Cancale, less than a kilometre from the beach, with Wi-Fi, a floor area of 400 m² and accommodation for up to eleven guests. It comprises a lovely living room, a fully fitted kitchen, six beautiful bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom, and you can enjoy a lovely enclosed garden. Cleaning is included in the rental price and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels); your bed will be made up on arrival.
The property is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A large dining room, a sitting area and a TV lounge
- A fully equipped kitchen, including: an electric kettle, a toaster, a microwave, an oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a Nespresso pod coffee machine...
- A bedroom with a double bed (140x190)
- A shower room
- A separate toilet.
On the first floor:
- A mezzanine bedroom with a double bed (140x190)
- Two bedrooms, each with a double bed (140x190)
- A bathroom with a bath and shower
- A separate toilet
On the second floor, in the attic:
- Two bedrooms, each with two single beds (90x190)
For even greater comfort, the following additional facilities are available: tumble dryer, high chair, washing machine, cot, ironing board and iron.
Outside:
- A lovely enclosed garden with outdoor furniture to enjoy the sunny days
The house is ideally situated in Cancale, in a very pleasant, peaceful setting. A path running alongside the house leads directly onto the GR34, with access to Port Briac beach and a small cove.
All essential shops are just a 5-minute drive away, as are the boutiques, restaurants, bars and market in the town of Cancale (on Sunday mornings), whilst the port of La Houle, famous for its oysters, is less than 10 minutes’ drive away.
Transport:
If you’re coming by car, you can park in the house’s private car park.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Saint-Malo, 16 km away
- Nearest airport: Pleurtuit, 30 km away
- Seasonal buses run to the beaches along the coast as far as Saint-Malo.
On arrival, you will be welcomed by the team at Cocoonr, the agency specialising in ‘ready-to-move-in’ rentals, who will be on hand throughout your stay to ensure you make the most of it.

Other points to note:
- Parties and loud music on the terrace are not permitted due to the proximity of neighbours and the naturally quiet and relaxing surroundings. We will be keeping an eye out for any disturbances; we’re counting on you to follow the rules of good neighbourliness so that this stay is a pleasant memory for everyone.
- Bed linen and towels included
- Free Wi-Fi available
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- The end-of-stay cleaning service does not include routine tasks such as washing up and putting away crockery, cleaning the barbecue or taking out the rubbish. A surcharge of €50 will apply if Cocoonr has to do this on your behalf.
- On arrival, the beds will be made and towels provided; every effort will be made to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

A great property in a wonderful location. If constructive feedback is welcome then an update on the barbecue and garden furniture would be my focus. They were functional but tired. All the people we spoke to were friendly and helpful and the complimentary coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. Helped us out until we could get to the supermarket the next day. My family and I would definitely return to “La Longère du Tertre”, no deal breakers for us, all in all it’s a very pleasant place to be!
