Great house, with walkable beach or walk to town of Elk Rapids (about 1 mile) or hike to nature conservation area. Kayaks and bikes available to enjoy the bay and area. Sit on the 2nd story deck and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the Mission Peninsula. 15 minute drive to Traverse City. 10 minutes to Flintfields Horse Farm.

Eric was a great host, very responsive, and easy to communicate with. Very accommodating to ensure we had a good stay. The property is amazing, great views over the Grand Traverse Bay with direct access to the water with a private beach front. Made great memories with our family!

My family had a wonderful time at Eric's house in Elk Rapids. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed. I appreciated that there was a fully stocked kitchen (spices, oil, vinegar, etc., plus all the equipment you'd need to cook) and some accessibility measures in place like grab bars in the bathrooms and hallway.
The beds were comfortable and two of the three bedrooms have great lake views to wake up to! We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning, and got to see some stunning sunsets over the lake at night.
The location was great if you plan to hang at the house a lot, it's also relatively close to downtown Elk Rapids which is cute to walk around. It's about 30 minutes from Traverse City and the peninsula with all the wineries.
Finally, Eric's communication was 10/10. Thanks for making our stay great!
