About this house rental

New house built in ecological materials and equipped for people with reduced mobility.
House with adjoining garden, located in the scrubland, ideal for a quiet holiday. Many nature activities nearby (climbing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, swimming, canyoning ...) The hamlet is 1.5 km from Aiguës Vives where we find all the amenities (doctor, supermarket, petrol station, bakery)

The hamlet is located about 30 km from the Mediterranean (Gruissan or Narbonne beach), with also the possibility to swim near nearby rivers or lakes.

For those who are interested in the history of the Cathars, we are on the coast of the famous "Cathare" region where the city of Minerve is located, a must visit of the region, the Cathar castles perched on beautiful cities and the famous city of Carcassonne.

Narbonne, Roman city, with its canal which crosses the city, its richness in historical monuments, its cathedral and the halle gastronomic stage.

The Canal du Midi passes 15 km from Paguignan, you can rent barges or simply walk along the banks under the shade of plane trees or umbrella pines.

Weekly markets nearby, Saint-Chinian, Olonzac, and Gruissan for beach markets.

And finally the proximity of the park of Haut Languedoc which is a real attraction for nature lovers

Not to mention that we are in the heart of Minervois or many wineries will make you taste very good wines.

This was a great property, clean, comfortable and quiet. We were looking for a place to rest and recharge the batteries. The property was located in a tiny village and was surrounded by trees. It was quiet and delightful. In easy driving distance of lots of lovely towns and villages. There was a supermarket in Olonzac and a small supermarket and Boulangerie a couple of miles away. Not too far from Carcassonne and Narbonne. The property was well equipped and not overlooked with walks on the doorstep. My only issue was there was no wifi, although it was listed in the property details. The owners were lovely and left us local treats which were much appreciated.
