About this villa rental
Villa Sophia, a sun soaked home!

Location & Space
• Located on the SW side of the island and on a Cycladic mountain full of thyme, sage in a historical village.
• Our private vineyard - in September we harvest and make our wine
• Panoramic Views
• Breathtaking Sunsets

• 2 outdoor showers to wash off the salt and sand
• Wine and dine on the spacious Terrace
• Grill your freshly delivered, steak or fish, on the Gas Grill.

Guest Access
A 20 min drive from the main port or airport. I can arrange for a taxi to pick you up or suggest car rentals to have a car waiting for you. You also have the choice to take the local bus, in which case I can pick you up from the bus stop in Poseidonia (at the Kiosk). A private road leads you to the property. There is plenty of space for parking if you rent a car or scooter.

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

Things to note
There are steps leading to and around the different levels of the property and a staircase inside the house.
In high season, which are the months of July and August, sounds of music travel up to our house from the beach, mainly on the weekends.
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is unique and known for its neoclassical mansions.
One can easily access the other villages for restaurants, shopping and the public transportation. Our property is on a road leading to Komito beach and a few other private properties. Komito and Agathopes beach are two beautiful sandy beaches with clear waters. Agathopes being the more popular one of the two has 3 choices of Greek restaurants. A beach bar is at Komito for refreshments and snacks. There are also two lovely restaurants in our neighborhood within walking distance.

Getting Around
There is plenty of parking space on the property. We do recommend you rent a car or scooter if you wish to see more of the island. However there is a bus that runs every 30 min from the bus stop, which is a 8 min walk from our property. This bus takes you through all the villages and to the main city and port of Ermoupolis. Taxi service is also available. We can also provide you with two bicycles if you wish to explore the nearby village and beaches this way. Other bicycles are available to hire from the car rental services. We can help you with more information about your transportation options.

This is an incredible place to stay and the host is one of the best I've had in all my travels. Hospitality to the next level. The host made enormous efforts to make sure the stay was comfortable. The house itself feels like a real home rather than a short-term rental with all the amenities you'd expect. Lots of privacy can be had as there are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and one half bathroom. The patio and the view are spectacular. The grill works great. Overall, a perfect stay.

Living at Kiki‘s Villa Sophia feels like living at home. There‘s absolutely nothing we missed. The Villa is very spacious, every room has its own bathrooms, a huge veranda perfect for breakfast and dinner with a great view, a well equipped kitchen with extras like nespresso machine, cool bag. The Villa looks more like a private than a holiday house.
The Villa is located in a small and traditional village. There are 2 local restaurants, a typical greek kiosk, a small bakery and fruit store close by. The supermarket is approximately 3km away, so a car or scooter is recommended.
Two small beaches are in walking distance but it‘s easier to get there with a scooter or car.
Overall Kiki is a very nice host and makes your stay rememberable. It was a great pleasure meeting her. We will come back someday!
