About this cottage rental
At La Colombière, a place of relaxation and rest, you will enjoy the green landscape and the many facilities at your disposal.
The swimming pool and its large terrace will delight young and old. You will enjoy the shady awning of the barn to take your breakfasts and meals in peace. You can also retire to the reading area in the mezzanine.
This large cottage, fresh in summer, is located in a barn completely restored and can accommodate two to four people. It has a beautiful kitchen, a living room with TV, sofa bed and a separate bedroom area with a venetian blind, as well as plenty of storage space for a comfortable stay. With a refined aesthetic, the decoration combines the old and the contemporary. You will enjoy a remarkable view of the park and its dovecote of the eighteenth century.
The property is located in the heart of the vineyards of the Perigord purple, in a field of 3 ha, and many hiking trails crisscross the countryside.
The studio can accommodate from 2 to 4 people but is ideal for a couple possibly with children If you want more sleeping, you can also rent the lodging Sémillon which is at the left end of the barn.
From La Colombière, you can easily visit an area rich in natural sites, renowned for its prehistoric and historic sites and with an exceptional heritage.
You will have access to the entire accommodation and the shared central space of 180m2 with mezzanine, furnished with a sofa, armchairs, tables and libraries where books for young and old are at your disposal. The central area includes a ping pong table.
You will also have access to the park and the terrace in front of the barn where you are reserved a dining area with a table and chairs.
Shared use of the 11m by 5m heated swimming pool, from 10am to 7pm, from May to October.
Wireless internet is available throughout the property.
There is a laptop work area and a private entrance, accessible from the shared area of the barn.

Lovely rural location and outlook. Gite was a nice mixture of modern and traditional, and well equipped.Olivia and her family were very welcoming and helpful hosts - they can't be blamed for the 42 degree temperature!

We had a wonderful week in a stunning location. Olivia and Alain were the perfect hosts and made the stay most enjoyable. The facilities were excellent- especially the swimming pool which was a welcome place after a days exploring. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you both.

I have stayed in this area about 20 times in the last 40 years and I would say this is the most beautiful of all the gites I have stayed in. The whole thing has been sympathetically modernised and is a delight. The garden is simply gorgeous with mature trees and flowering plants and a view over the valley ∧ because I am an early riser I saw hares and s small deer while drinking my coffe on the patio. Lovely swimming pool.The location is rural but the village has a boulangerie (fantastic fresh baguettes and croissants.) and a small provisions shop. Olivia & Alain are perfect hosts, very helpful if needed but very discreet. I was there for 4 weeks and adored it. One word of warning: I have now retired but if you intend to work the internet is flaky.

We have just spent 10 idyllic days staying at here. The whole property us absolutely beautiful and the cottage ideally suited for a couple. The way it has all been renovated sympathetically is testament to the owners skill and good taste. We had everything we needed provided inside and having full use of the barn areas plus outside covered terrace dining area was perfect. The pool area is divine. It is such a quiet tranquil place to sit, so peaceful with stunning views and plenty of birdlife and wildlife including herds of deer running through the fields. We sat out most evenings just chatting and watching the stars. The property is really easy to find from the good directions provided and ideally situated for exploring the area’s historic quaint towns. There is a small shop locally in the village which is excellent or larger supermarkets only a 20 minute drive away.
Thank you so much for hosting us, your home is just magical.
