This delightful cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort, style, and location, set in the peaceful village of Burnham Thorpe with lovely open countryside views to the front and a generous mature garden to the rear.
Inside, the property is finished to a high standard throughout, creating a welcoming and well-appointed space for a relaxing stay. The layout includes two good-sized double bedrooms, along with a bathroom and separate shower room, making it a practical and comfortable choice for couples, friends, or small groups.
The cottage is ideally positioned for exploring North Norfolk. Burnham Market is just over a mile away, with its well-known selection of independent shops, cafés, and excellent restaurants. A little further on, Burnham Overy Staithe offers a picturesque quay with sailing boats and scenic coastal walks leading to a wide sandy beach. During the summer months, a small ferry runs across to Scolt Head Island, and there are also opportunities to enjoy longer boat trips along the coast.
Within easy reach are the expansive sandy beaches at Wells and Holkham, as well as the impressive Holkham Hall estate with its beautiful parkland and wide open spaces. Whether you're looking to unwind in a peaceful setting or explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline, this cottage provides a comfortable and well-located base for your stay.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome. The garden is private but not completely secure.

We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage, it was perfectly clean and the beds were super comfy.
The cottage has everything you could need, it was like being at home, it is so well furnished and equipped even down to the garden furniture/bbq etc and the garden was secure for my labrador, parking outside was not a problem and it was really easy to unload the car.
We loved the area and the village and nearby Burnham Market was really handy to pick up supplies.
We would definitely love to come back one day

We really enjoyed our holiday in Norfolk staying in Rose Cottage. We loved the location, the garden, the comfy bed and having two bathrooms. The cottage was well equipped and clean. We were slightly concerned about parking right on the road and would not have wanted to get children in and out of the car.
Useful feedback to owners/managers - the seal around kitchen sink plug has perished meaning sink won't hold water. Needs replacement or provide washing up bowl. Garden shrubs and hedges were very overgrown and untidy. The garden would be amazing with a bit of a tidy up. Some fencing damage at the rear so no longer dog proof.

We had a wonderful week in Norfolk. The local beaches are beautiful and the coastal paths provided great walks. Everything was in easy reach and despite being high summer nowhere seemed crowded. The local village is expensive so I’d advise taking as much as you can for the fridge beforehand. The cottage is very nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. The gardens are very close though (which is to be expected for a terraced cottage) but something to consider if you are concerned about privacy. Just a few negatives, the master bed was very uncomfortable and the coffee machine uses pods that are hard to find. Small things and nothing that impacted on our overall enjoyment. We booked through Norfolk Stay who provided an excellent service and replied to any queries immediately. I’d have no hesitation in using them again and will definitely return to the area in the future .
