Set in an exquisite, rural and private setting, this 300-year-old farmhouse has been completely renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining its original characteristics. The pool terrace has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas if the shade is required complete with an outside shower, a barbecue area and more outside dining space. It is within easy reach of the village square where shops, supermarkets and restaurants can be found. Many of the island's most beautiful beaches are only a short car journey away. Ta' Filomena is only a 15-minute walk away from shops, pubs and restaurants, a 20-minute walk away from Ramla Bay, and a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop amongst others. A must for those who simply wish to escape and switch off from everyday life.

We recently stayed at Ta’ Filomena in Gozo and it exceeded every expectation. The property perfectly combines traditional Maltese charm with modern comfort, creating a relaxing and authentic island experience from the moment we arrived.The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious, the décor was tasteful and welcoming, and the outdoor areas were absolutely stunning — perfect for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Gozo. Whether relaxing in the evenings or starting the morning with coffee outside, every part of the property felt special.The location was ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to beaches, historic sites, restaurants, and local villages while still offering a quiet and private retreat away from the crowds. The surrounding scenery and slower pace of life made the stay incredibly relaxing.What truly made the experience exceptional was the hospitality. Communication was excellent throughout the booking and stay, and every detail showed genuine care for guests. It felt less like renting a vacation property and more like being welcomed into a beautiful home.We would absolutely stay at Ta’ Filomena again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gozo. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful, and memorable Maltese getaway, this property is an outstanding choice.

This was the perfect vacation for our family of ten. We toured this fascinating island, immersed ourselves in its history, ate the delicious food, and had lots of time in the house to visit and play games. Perfect trip!
