10 minutes from Big Bend and Terlingua Ghost Town. Casa Piedra of Ghost Town Casitas is a beautiful air-conditioned casita perfect for the lone traveler or couple looking to experience this special part of West Texas.
This cozy one-room with king bed and one-bathroom casita is located in the heart of Terlingua where you can walk over for dinner and drinks at the iconic Starlight Theatre Restaurant & Saloon. Or grab a hot cup of coffee and a breakfast burrito in the morning at the local cafe.
Details are everything in this rental, from the river rock wall in the bathroom, to the mixed-material ceiling, to the hand-built bonus outdoor shower. Casa Piedra features a king-sized bed, large bathroom, mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, Berkey water filter, air conditioning and heat, WiFi, and an outdoor fire pit -- wood is not included.
Guests will have access to the entire casita, along with private parking just outside the place.
The neighborhood is Terlingua's iconic Ghost Town. Just yards away, you can see some of the old mining ruins from an era when this town was livelier.
There is free parking on the property.
Casa Piedra is the modern version of one of Terlingua Ghost Town's historic mining ruins -- complemented by its surroundings yet still charming. This is the BEST place to stay in Terlingua! The property is spotless and super charming and it's close to everything! We walked to the Starlight Theater, also the Boathouse as well as a fabulous new food truck serving Eastern European cuisine. Coleman was an excellent host who accommodated our requests. I'm thrilled to recommend this property. Thank you!

Everything we needed to enjoy are trip to big bend...short drive to Emory peakand a nice place to come back to after along day...really enjoyed cooking aourmeals on the outside fire pit and
