About this house rental
Bridge Cottage is a well-equipped and modernised stone built house in the village of Lusigny sur Ouche which overlooks the river. About 15 minutes from Beaune in the heart of the Burgundy countryside, a good base for exploring the regions vineyards.
The historic and modern capital of Burgundy may be Dijon, but the beautiful town of Beaune sits right in the heart of the famous Côte d'Or vineyards and is recognised as Burgundy's wine capital. It has a wide range of facilities including several supermarkets and an extensive Saturday market. There are plenty of opportunities to buy wine, cheese and other local produce.
Bridge cottage is located in the centre of the village with a lovely view of the river Ouche. On the ground floor the house has a living room and a kitchen. In the living room is a traditional flagstone floor and there is a wood burning stove (wood supplied).
Upstairs is a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet, accessed by a covered patio. There is a single bed on the landing. To the rear is a small, secluded courtyard which is ideal for eating out and catches the afternoon and evening sun.
There is easy parking outside the house.
The village of Bligny sur Ouche is 2 km away and has a baker, a supermarket, a chemist, a post office and bar/restaurant. There is a local market every Wednesday morning.

An old/renovated house, well and individually equipped, in a calm and pittoresque village, situated at the banks of the small river Ouche opposite the cottage. And a sunny terrace with roof and view to the hill. A fine restaurant nearby (300 m), and a small town with market and bakery only 2 km away on a footpath along the vally.
We enjoyed 2 weeks with excursions (e.g. by E-bikes) to many locations, towns and villages around of cultural or historically interests and a lovely, varying landscape

The small river runs through the entire village and it's just across the road from the house - a beautiful place!

Pretty little house, very well kept in a beautiful area. Lots of things to do and places to around, but also just to settle down and relax. We loved it and will surely come back. Highly recommended!!!
