About this cottage rental

Come and unwind at Lanlas Cottages. Yr Hen Feudy - the former old cow shed - is set in scenic countryside, only a 25-min drive away from the beautiful West Wales coast. It is an idyllic peaceful getaway with underfloor heating and high-speed WiFi >50 Mbps. It also has a key lockbox for easy self check-in.
Yr Hen Feudy overlooks the Teifi River Valley and accommodates 4 people in two bedrooms. It has an open plan lounge/diner, a fully equipped kitchen and a wet room.
Please note, we allow up to two well-behaved dogs (no other pets), if you would like to bring your best friend(s) along. A pet fee applies at the time of booking.
We are in a secluded quiet area, and yet only 10 minutes drive from the small university town of Lampeter with all amenities. You can see the stars at night, hear the owls call, or watch the buzzards and red kites in the daytime. Guests are also welcome to walk in our own small woodland.
West Wales is a walker's paradise and there many fantastic local walks close by. The nearest beach is a short drive away with access to the fabulous Ceredigion Coast Path - a 60 mile long trail.

If you are looking for additional space for friends and family, we also have two further cottages on site: Tŷ Cerbyd (a former Carriage House with one bedroom) and Y Stabl (converted Stable with two bedrooms).

My wife and I, and our little dog, had a lovely long term stay at this cottage. It was spotlessly clean and had everything for our stay. The bed was super comfortable. It was lovely to have the woods to walk through and the balcony to sit outside and watch the chickens waltz by. The scenery from this cottage is wonderful. Daniela was the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay again.

This holiday accommodation was fantastic. It had great views. It was peaceful and relaxing place to stay. They have to lovely pigs that like belly rubs and a little dog that is extremely friendly. The owners are extremely helpful and nice and i would thoroughly recommend staying here.

This cottage is just lovely. We needed somewhere to stay at fairly short notice to visit an ill relative, and this was just perfect for myself, my wife, and my Dad. Spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could ever need. It's such a shame we couldn't stay longer but it's very likely that we will be back

A wonderful, restful stay for myself and two friends. We were looking for somewhere to rest, relax, catch up and read books and we certainly achieved this at this beautiful property. Brilliant communication with the host, they were able to offer recommendations for where to eat in the local area as well as making our check-in and -out process seamless. The proper itself was perfect for what we wanted: comfortable, clean, full of useful amenities and in an ideal location. We loved meeting the dogs, chickens and pigs, as well as the very kind hosts. Accommodation was spotless on arrival. Fabulous views from lounge and decking area. Well equipped, all essential items catered for. Daniella and John are very friendly but unobtrusive and would be on hand if there were any queries. There are two supermarkets in Lampeter which is only a few minutes away by car. Lots of coastal walks, Devils Bridge and Aberystwyth are not too far away. Would be very happy to return one day.

A beautiful cottage with lots of character. Stunning views over the hills. Lots of walks. Feeding the piglets is a must. My favourite moment of all was being greeted by the friendly chickens every morning. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Always available to help Will definitely visit again.

What In amazing place, Daniela was the perfect Hostess. Property was a dream, My partner and I have a wonderful 3 days there, Utter silence and night and listening to the the dawn chorus at 5am.out on the balcony with a coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this getaway cottage. The hosts were welcoming, the cottage was clean, neat, and well appointed. Additionally, there is a special welcome committee comprised of a rooster and his harem. We enjoyed their entertainment and will be back for another show! The eggs were great too!

Stayed over Xmas and new year and had a great stay. The property was clean and had a nice fresh smell. Essentials were provided - tea, coffee, sugar, milk and chocolates. Hosts were friendly and available when required. Cute piglets who had managed to escape visited one evening which was lovely. The outside area was secure which the dogs loved as could go out when they wanted.
