About this villa rental
Villa Georgette is located in the seaside resort of Merville-Franceville-Plage, near Cabourg and Houlgate. Situated 500 meters from the beach, in a quiet cul-de-sac, it combines the charm of an old house with the comfort of a recently renovated home.
The villa consists of a main house and a separate guest house. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people, with its 6 bedrooms (4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the guest house). The property is ideal for two families, with its two completely separate living areas.
The 600 m² landscaped garden features a large south-facing terrace sheltered from the wind. Spacious outdoor furniture allows you to enjoy lunch outside. A rooftop terrace above the main house offers breathtaking views of the resort. Deck chairs, patio furniture, and a barbecue are at your disposal, as well as 9 new hybrid bikes (3 size S, 3 size M, 3 size L), 2 skateboards, 2 scooters, and outdoor games (badminton with rackets and shuttlecocks, Molky game).
All shops are within walking distance of the house. There are many activities to enjoy in the surrounding area (accessible on foot or by bike from the house): golf, kitesurfing, tennis, horseback riding, a skate park, mini-golf, and a children’s pool.
Located 6 km from Cabourg and 20 km from Caen, the villa is just a stone’s throw from the D-Day beaches (Sword, Gold, Juno). Within a 40-kilometer radius, you’ll find Bayeux, the castles of Crève Coeur and Canon (which host medieval festivals in the summer), and the beautiful, traditional villages of the Pays d’Auge (notably Beuvron-en-Auge).

- The main entrance is on the 1st floor
- 1st floor: living room, dining room, kitchen (oven, American-style refrigerator with freezer, microwave, drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, electric kettle)
-2nd floor: Albertine master suite with a king-size bed (160x200) and a desk; bathroom with a large walk-in shower and toilet; Madeleine master suite with a king-size bed (160x200), bathroom with a bathtub and toilet
-3rd floor: Félicité master suite with a king-size bed (160x200) in the attic, a bed (90x190), bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, access to the rooftop
-Ground Floor: Simone bedroom with a king-size bed (160x200) and a desk, bathroom with a large walk-in shower and toilet, laundry room with washer and dryer, access to the garden
Separate guest house:
-Ground Floor: living room, dining table, fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, Nespresso), queen-size bed (160x200), bathroom with large walk-in shower and toilet
- Attic Mezzanine: queen-size bed (160x200)
Parking available in the cul-de-sac.

This property offer a lot to a vacationer. A lot of Beds and Baths means everyone gets what they need. So many amenities . On street parking was not a problem since it is a dead end street. A few learning curves to handle for someone visiting from another country. Still, it is worth the effort.

This is a beautiful house in a lovely town on the Normandy coast. We came to see some of the D-Day landing sites and beaches and as a group of adults really appreciated the size of the house and the fact that all the bedrooms were pretty equal in size with modern bathrooms. The garden is also very pretty and secluded. We spent a lovely few days in this very gentle part of the world and hope to come back again soon. Would highly recommend trip to Honfleur for the day - great restaurants and interesting shops.
