About this house rental
We welcome you to stay in our idyllic cottage, enjoying the best of the Somerset countryside and just 15 minutes away from Bath city centre!
Enjoy a peaceful escape from the hustle and bussle of daily life in our gorgeous, secluded barn conversion. As you step in through the front door, you are welcomed into the stunning open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics you need to enjoy a cosy cooking night together or to prepare a big breakfast, to fuel you for a day of exploring!
Through the kitchen, you will find the gorgeous open living area with smart TV and flagstone floors, great for a relaxed night in.
At the other end of the home, you will find two stunning bedrooms, both with french doors that open up to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the countryside! In the master bedroom, there is a beautiful freestanding bathtub surrounded by french doors, so you can soak in the views and the bubble bath at the same time!
In the large open garden, there is a beautiful patio with outdoor seating and a walkway to the hot tub. Feel free to enjoy this gorgeous space with lots of trees, and the walk down to the meadow area with a bench. There are also two lakes at the bottom of the hill to enjoy (although be careful as they can be a bit hidden when the grass is high!).
With Bath spa and natural hot springs just a short drive away and your own personal hot tub in the garden too, this is the perfect place to switch off and relax!
**Important: To help protect our homes and guests, we may require the lead guest named on the booking to complete an independent ID verification process prior to arrival. It’s nice and easy, taking less than 5 minutes to complete. Please note this MUST be completed by the named booker. If completed by someone else, we will request for the verification to be resubmitted. Failure to complete this process correctly may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Please note: We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £5.00 fee to cover payment processing fees) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.**

• No smoking allowed.
• No unregistered guests allowed.
• Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
• Please respect the noise curfew of 10pm.
• Please respect check-in and check-out times.
• Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee of £75.
• Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
• Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
• Please do your dishes.
• Please take the rubbish out before you leave.

This is our second stay at The Cider Barn and we came back because it's perfect for a Bath visit if you don't want to stay right in the city.Only a 5-minute drive out of town and plenty of outdoor space for our dog to run around in.The Cider Barn is very cosy, well-appointed and finished to a very high quality.Easy parking, the beds are comfy, the shower is great and the internet is fast!Both times we've stayed here, we opened the bedroom curtains to see deer grazing just outside the window. Magic.The host is very pleasant and professional and we can only recommend this place highly.We will definitely be returning before too long.Thanks for making such a lovely place, my daughter says she wants to buy it from you and live in it.AAA

A lovely property, handy for Bath but very rural, we had dear and peasants right outside our bedroom window.Comfortable Beds, Clean and a Great Shower!Highly recommended, we'll be back.
