Looking to escape reality for a totally relaxing and authentic Vieques experience that still has all the comforts of home plus so much more??? At Casa Anonna you will enjoy spacious accommodations with breathtaking views, a private pool, expansive and secure gated property for total privacy, an oasis nestled on a hillside away from the hustle bustle of town and tourists in the midst of authentic Vieques neighborhood but still only 5-10 minutes from all the essentials and beautiful beaches.
From the moment you step on the grounds, you will marvel at the spectacular panoramic views from the unit and your private spacious veranda. You have a full and clear view of the northern portion of Vieques and the southeast coast line of Puerto Rico and refreshing island breezes while enjoying your meals, cocktails and extensive relaxation time.
The expansive property is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood but is still secured by a perimeter wall and locked gated entry. Ultimately providing you extra security and privacy to enjoy the exceptional views.
When you explore the grounds you will encounter tropical plants such as Birds of Paradise as well as numerous palm, avocado, banana, papaya, coconut, mango and tamarind trees.
Central to the property is a large private swimming pool with lounge chairs to relax in while taking in the views and perhaps catching an iguana steal a drink from the pool.
***PLEASE TAKE NOTE***The property consists of three rental units, one on each level of the house. Each unit is separate - you can consider this a condo. This listing is for the top level of the property which is my residence when I am on the island. Each unit has its own private entrance and the position of each one makes it feel like a private home.
THIS UNIT IS THE TOP FLOOR OF THE PROPERTY. It has 2 bedrooms with 3 queen beds and 2 full baths. Sleeps 4-6 comfortably. There is space for a crib in the bedrooms and there is a twin bed size rollaway available on request only.
A fully stocked kitchen with cookware and all of the large and small appliances you will need to have the ability to make any or all of your meals at home.
- A living area that has all of the essentials you will need for a comfortable stay. There are ceiling fans through out, flat screen TV with DVD player, Dish Network access and WiFi.
- A private veranda with dining table, lounge chairs, ceiling fans and gas grill.
- Each bedroom has an AC unit to ensure a comfortable nights sleep if the breezes and ceiling fans aren't enough. (Please Note: For those individuals booking in the summer/warmer months - this unit does NOT have FULL AC through out. It only has AC in the bedrooms and they are set to function only in the evening (4:30 PM to 9:00AM.) These units will not cool down the entire unit. This property is not for you if you are looking for a fully air conditioned home.)
- Access to 2 beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and a small soft insulated cooler and jug to keep lunch/snacks/drinks cold while exploring the beaches!
Please note: The property is equipped with exterior security cameras for safety and security purposes. Cameras are located outside and are not directed toward any interior or private areas. Cameras are directed toward the front gates, pool, east stairs, and the walkway to the pool.

Views were amazing. Location of the condo was centrally located, so it was easy to get anywhere on island. Tylar was readily available if any questions or issues came up. AC’s in bedrooms worked great. Gated property gave you a sense of security. Would stay there again if we return to Vieques.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the peacefulness of the setting made it the perfect island getaway. The space was clean and well-kept, with that lovely charm you’d expect from a tropical retreat.The pool was great, even though we only used it once since we spent most of our time at the nearby beaches. The proximity to everything is fantastic—so convenient, yet still feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Parking was easy, but you should know there are some steps to get to the property (I like to think it helped me burn off all the great food I ate)The property was well-stocked with beach necessities, which made our outings super easy, and Tyler, the caretaker, was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The AC worked perfectly, which was much appreciated after a warm day exploring. We found the sound of roosters in the morning charming and hysterical at times, and we loved the beautiful nods to the owners’ mother sprinkled throughout the property and the story she shared in the visitor's book.The grounds were lovely, though a bit overgrown during our visit, but that’s all part of the natural charm of island living. It didn’t take away from our experience at all.We truly love this place and can’t wait to return again! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful, central, and well-appointed. The views are incredible, and the home looks better than the listing photos. (Note: There are a lot of stairs due to the hillside location).Unfortunately, the onsite caretaker was difficult and rude to us more than once. We had to escalate the issue to the owner, who was helpful in resolving the situation. Great home, but the onsite staff needs improvement
