About this house rental
3BRs sleep 5, plus 2 floor mattresses for kids, plus a sleep sofa for 2 in the LR. 2BTHs w/showers.
Four-minute walk to the beach, 4 beach badges included.
2-blocks to Ocean Grove's quaint shops, 8-mins via the foot bridges or the oceanfront boardwalk to dining-and-entertainment-rich beachfront Asbury Park.

Two front porches (one up, one down - see the picture). Gas cooking. Built in 1880, the historic single-family ‘Creamcake House’ is a whole-house beach rental.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CREAMCAKE HOUSE:
* 2 porches (one on each level) with elegant patio furniture (social media posting-perfect!)
* All bed linens/towels/beach towels included.
* Beds: Queen in Master bedroom upstairs sleeps 2
* Beds: Twin bed in 2nd bedroom upstairs sleeps 1
* Beds: Sturdy 'old-school' adult-sized wooden bunk bed sleeps two in the upstairs back bedroom
* Beds: Two twin-size mats available to spread on the back bedroom floor for kids (or fun-loving adults) - !
... plus a very sturdy (wooden) fold-out sleep sofa can sleep two in the living room
* 2 Baths: Updated bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, each with shower
* A/C: Four window air conditioners. Each sleeping area has an in-room A/C.
* Laundry: New washer & dryer in house: No trips to the laundromat necessary (even though a full-service, do-it-all-for-you laundromat is just one block away),

Your rental of Creamcake House includes 4 'beach badges' to use during your stay. Children under 12: Free.

We enjoyed our stay at the Creamcake House which is conveniently located near the main shopping area and the boardwalk. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I look forward to visiting again some day.

The Cream Cake House was built in the 1880s and has kept most of its charm from that era. Beautiful updated bathroom on the second level, dishwasher in the kitchen, which most rental houses do not have. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. plenty of towels and paper supplies. Scott and Catherine were very nice and answered any questions we had almost immediately. Beautiful wicker furniture on the front porch, and a short walk to the beach. It was a very relaxing week for my group of five.

Well located and equipped house for a beach weekend with great access to water, Asbury Ocean and downtown Ocean Grove - lots of beach towels and chairs. Beautiful outdoor decks. For a long er term off season stay a little less ideal. Lacked comfortable seating in LR. Did not feel private. Beds in extra bedrooms were all child sized which wasn’t great when my adult children came to visit. Overall recommend for summer beach weekend stay especially for family with small children.
