Welcome to King's River Cabin, a beautifully appointed log home nestled along the scenic Oconaluftee River. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat offers an idyllic setting just minutes from both Downtown Cherokee and Downtown Bryson City. The thoughtfully designed layout features separate living spaces within the main residence and a private in-law suite above the garage, providing an ideal arrangement for couples seeking privacy or friends and families desiring ample space to connect.
King's River Cabin is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly anglers and nature lovers. Conveniently located within 15 minutes of both the Deep Creek and Cherokee entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, guests can easily explore the park's natural wonders. Enjoy the diverse shops and attractions of Cherokee and Bryson City before returning to the cabin to unwind on the screened-in porch, where tranquil views of the Oconaluftee River provide a serene backdrop for relaxation.

o Pet Policy: This cabin is pet friendly. We do charge a $75 (non-refundable) pet fee, per pet.
o Wi-Fi: This cabin does not offer Wi-Fi, making it ideal for an off-the-grid getaway. Cell service varies by carrier, but complimentary Wi-Fi is always available in downtown Bryson City and at the Yellow Rose office.
o Concierge Services: Grocery delivery, celebration packages, early check in/late check out. Additional fees apply. Based on availability and cleaning schedule.

The cabin was perfect and the place was very clean upon our arrival. The river is located right across the gravel road and you have beautiful view of the river from anywhere in cabin. The screen in porch was perfect for relaxing. If you plan on using the sofa bed I would recommend bring a air mattress because the mattress is worn and you can feel the springs but other than that the bedroom off the living room is very large with a nice king size bed and the apartment upon the garage is was beautiful with a porch you can sit on and enjoy your morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here.

We chose the cain as it is pet friendly and we were overwhelmed by how nice it was. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. That was a plus as we forgot a few things at home. The cabin is super comfortable and we enjoyed the yard and creek and especially the night sky. I definitely recommend this place as we were also so close to town and the national park.

The two bedrooms mentioned aren't in the same area. This place is more like 2 separate apartments. The main level is smaller than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is very cramped. The coffee maker is an OLD drip coffee maker. The wall sockets on the wall the fridge is on, didn't work. The flatware was very random and OLD. I'm 5'1" tall and the microwave was above my head! The bathroom is tiny and when you pull the thing on the faucet in the tub to operate the shower, most of the water still pours out of the faucet causing very poor water pressure. To get to the other "bedroom", you have to go out the front door and unlock the garage door that is to the right. The upstairs area is adorable and cozy,though. The bathroom was a nice size but has a sloped ceiling. My husband who is 6'3" would bump his head when he was in there. There is baseboard heating. The bathroom one works slightly. The main area one didn't work at all. There was a very cute space heater that looked like an iron fireplace. It did not get it very warm up there when the temperature got in the low 40s. It was nice being next to the river, but that isn't enough to being us back.
