The bottom level access leads to a queen master bedroom with private bath and access to the private swimming pool with Tiki bar and bubbly 7 person hot tub. The mid-level is home to four more bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are masters (a king and a queen) with private baths, one is a queen bedroom with semi-private bath and the fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The washer/dryer is conveniently located on this level. The top level great room is impressive with high, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, spacious kitchen with updated appliances and large breakfast bar featuring vegetable sink and bar seating for 6, and dining table with sliders to the deck on either side. Had a wonderful stay in this property. The walk to the beach from the house is very short, which was a huge advantage. The pool was great, but I'm not sure if paying for the pool heat was worth it considering it always felt chilly. There were a few maintenance issues at the property that weren't big enough to make a stink about. If I had one qualm with the experience it's that the listing clearly states that if you selected that you had a pet in your search then the fee was included in the price, but then when we went to finalize the booking there was a 200 pet fee on top of the VRBO listed price. We called the company and said the listing was incorrect and "there was no way they could change it". That's just a wildly untrue statement, and almost got me to cancel our booking from the jump. HOWEVER, I'm glad we didn't as we had a great stay. I don't think the bait and switch tactics are necessary. Just say there will be a pet fee when you complete your booking.In the end, very happy with the property. Was a very relaxing week.

We were in Skippers Landing in Avon,NC., 1st week of May 2021. Beautiful and very relaxing place. Clean and decor beautifully co ordinated. Beds comfortable. Alot of windows...beautiful. Blinds on all of them for privacy at night. The deer were a pleasant surprise. Only con was the grill looked like it hadn't been used in awhile. Surf or Sound Realty handled the property. They are great. Very helpful when needed. A great place for a relaxing vacation.

Smoke detectors went off minutes after our arrival, notified the office, no one ever responded
Had to clear ALL shower drains of stringy material in order for the tubs too drain
Bathroom rug on the first floor bathroom was stuck to the floor, I know this because I didn't want it to get wet and so that I could use the shower mat next to the tub. I spent 10 minutes trying to remove the material stuck to the floor. It was pretty obvious to us that whomever was cleaning cleaned around it
Trash was left on the floor in the bunk room
a/c vents were filthy
