The two-story home features comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, tasteful décor, and professional cleaning. Outdoors, relax on the deck, enjoy the covered picnic area, or fire up the propane BBQ. Four fireplaces/stoves and upstairs A/C (May–September) keep everyone comfortable. Entertainment includes TVs, internet, and DVDs, plus a private boat launch and slip in summer.
Located at the entrance to Big Cove, with nearby boat and Jet Ski rentals. Wally's Peninsula Market, restaurants, trails, and Mt. Lassen National Park are just minutes away. The warm, wind-protected waters of Lake Almanor offer boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and swimming year-round.

We are located just west of Susanville, CA, off Hwy. 36. Parking for your cars and boat trailers is abundant. If you require a smaller space, we also own cabin #7 which is a 2 bedroom/2bath and sleeps 6 comfortably.

To keep out the wildlife, bugs and critters, please remember to close doors and windows that don’t have screens on them. Don’t leave food out or crumbs on the counters, tables, furniture or beds to help keep those unwanted pests out. The home and property is treated regularly, seeing dead bugs doesn’t mean there is an infestation but that the treatment is working.

First the good. Local host was great! Great location with wonderful view of lake and easy access to lake, boat ramp and dock with assigned slip. Also close to store and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped and WiFi was very good (wife held several video conference calls). Master BR was nice, spacious and had a nice view of lake. Pleased to have a child gate at top of stairs and slider door at bottom of stairs to close off downstairs from upstairs. Deck is spacious with a nice table, view, plenty of functional plastic chairs (very basic) and a good BBQ. Great parking.Now the “Not so Good”. Cleanliness could have been better. Living room rug was dirty, dirt under rug and in corners. Downstairs smelled musty and tables outside were dirty. Worth mentioning in light of the fact that we pay cleaning fee.This is not a home by itself on a piece of property. It’s one of 11 cabins on the property. There are other cabins connected to it and adjacent to it. Didn’t get this from property description. Was surprised to be part of cabin community, much like going to an upgraded PG&E/PSEA location if you’ve ever been to one.The floor plan was also different than expected. There are two rooms upstairs (Master and Room with Bunk Beds) but only one small bathroom that must be shared by the two rooms. Not enough towels. Living Room was smaller than expected. Pics made it seem much larger. Stand alone A/C unit is small but helps. 1.5 rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels (enough said).

Everything about cabin 11 was excellent it’s a great place to stay. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses and provide cotton bedding and sheets.

Property was clean and well stocked. Property manager was on site and very helpful with explaining things in house and had great recommendations for local restaurants. House was located right on lake. Our extended family had a great time. Thank you!
