Perched on a hilltop, in the outskirts of Rethymno, Mageia Exclusive Residence is a 377 square meter, newly built villa with high standards. The villa adopts the indoor-outdoor lifestyle with seamless transitions between the inside to the terrace. Fully private, but conveniently close to everything, Mageia Exclusive Residence offers all that you were looking for, for your summer holiday.
Layout
Mageia Exclusive Residence is designed to accommodate large groups, while offering privacy at the same time, as it consists of two separate buildings with an identical layout, both fully equipped.
The villa, therefore, features two living rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, six bathrooms, six bedrooms, plus two open loft bedrooms, and can accommodate up to 16 people in beds. Minimal furnishings and materials create a clean and calming atmosphere, while the balconies and verandas offer stunning panoramic sea views over the Cretan sea. The two buildings are connected through a balcony bridge located on the first floor.

- Bathroom with double vanity and shower
Lofts
From the first floor of each building, stairs lead to a loft bedroom, featuring:
- Air-conditioned bedroom: Double bed (1.50 x 2.00), a 32" HDTV, direct access to a private veranda with two bean bag loungers & unobstructed sea views
Lower levels
On this level of each building, you will find:
- Master bedroom: King-size bed (1.80 x 2.00) made from joined single Coco-Mat beds, a 32" HDTV, a closet
- A private sitting area with a sofa and a TV
- Ensuite bathroom with shower
- Direct access to the pool area via a few steps
- Storage room with a washer & dryer
Child Friendly
Mageia Exclusive Residence also appeals to the inner kid hidden inside everyone, and of course, to actual kids as well! The Villa offers several leisure time facilities for kids of all ages, including:
- A sports field, in the backyard, offering facilities for many sports such as volleyball, tennis, basketball, or soccer.
- A large covered area, ideal for the kids to play.
- A playground including toys (swing, small house, and slide).
- Two shallow childrens pools.
- PlayStation 4 Pro console.
Outdoor Area
But what will really take your breath away is the outdoor area of Mageia Exclusive Residence, equipped to embrace ultimate relaxation and offering amazing, panoramic views of the sea and mountains. More specifically, the outdoor facilities include:
- Two private swimming pools (both covering 77 m2), each one with a childrens section and a small waterfall. One of the two pools can be heated upon advance request, for an additional daily charge, for the entire stay, and requires at least one weeks notice.
- The pool terrace is equipped with comfortable sun beds, umbrellas and an outdoor shower.
- A 5-seater wooden hot tub, perfectly positioned for sea views.
- Under the pergola, an outdoor kitchen with sliding glass doors, both charcoal and gas barbecues, a sink, refrigerator, gas hobs, dishes and utensils, and a large outdoor wooden dining table.
- A wooden deck with built-in seating and soft white cushions around a fire pit.
- A ping pong table.
- An outdoor projector
- A variety of furnished spots for relaxing on the pool terrace, featuring bean bag loungers, a hammock, a hanging egg chair, chairs and tables.
- Parking space for 5 cars inside the Villa premises.
**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Our group of 15 people stayed at Mageia in late June/early July and we had a wonderful time. Anna, the property manager came to meet us and give us a quick overview of the property—which is absolutely stunning. Light, breezy, phenomenal views, modern design and furnishings throughout. They had a giant spread of fruits, veggies, local baked goods and beverages to welcome us. We enjoyed the both outdoor and indoor spaces. The kitchens in both houses and outdoor cooking area are all well appointed with everything you need to roast, grill, sautee to your heart’s content. Plus you’re minutes away from wonderful tavernas, casual cafes and higher end restaurants. Both pools and hot tub were immaculate and well tended.
We had a few minor points of feedback amidst a truly amazing stay:
1. We lost water one night in the middle of the night which made things a bit tricky for such a large group. Anna made sure it was fixed the next day, gave me updates through the day, and even came to drop off extra bottled water for everyone.
2. There is one bedroom that doesn’t close properly and two bathroom doors that can accidentally lock you in. There were a lot of skeleton keys involved and even when you had the right key, it didn’t always work as expected. I think it’s important to get these doors fixed or just replace with simpler doors.
One of the most outstanding parts of our visit was the concierge service from Anna. She was so responsive, helpful and flexible! She’s a star!

Etouri vacation team run an absolutely first class service! They remove any holiday hassle so you can truly relax. The villa (Mageia) was stunning, the amenities and cleanliness are excellent - our holiday dreams were lifted further by the promptness and professionalism of the team.
Etouri remained in regular contact with us, booking restaurants, transport, answering queries (how do we put the pool lights on!) nothing was too much or too tedious. Communication is free using the villa phone or WhatsApp, I never waited for a reply!
It is the second time we have booked using Etouri and would definitely use them again in the future. Holiday's are precious and if you want to completely relax when away, Etouri can definitely make this happen!
To all the Etouri team; thank you again for making our holiday such a wonderfully relaxing experience. We can't wait to holiday with you in the future!

The property was fantastic ,the staff brilliant and very helpful ,Anna was amazing ,the villas suited us down to the ground giving us space from each other but allowing us to interact as a family group together a various times in the day ,we couldnt has wished for a more relaxed and comfortable stay from where we were based as we had our wedding in a local vineyard .we love cooking and all shopping was done for us ,so the villas outside area dining was perfect for us .highly recommended to any families wishing to have a great stay ,travel into town via taxis was easy and the people where so very nice and welcoming ,making our wedding perfect .Thanks to all for your help and advise on everything .First class service .Tina David Forman and family .

Perfect in every way, it was all we needed and more for all the group.
