Discover your perfect Florida retreat in Green Cove Springs! This dog-friendly 3BR/2BA home sleeps 6 and features a fully fenced yard with firepit, BBQ grill and patio seating. Inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, high-speed WiFi, Smart TVs and board games. The owner's suite has a queen bed and en-suite bath, while two guest bedrooms offer a queen bed plus two twins. Guests can also use bikes, kids' fishing rods, washer/dryer and free parking for 2 cars (plus small RV/boat). Located just 1 mile from Spring Park's splash pad, spring-fed pool and St. Johns River, with easy day trips to historic St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Our Pine Ave Home is only about 1 mile from the riverfront and the park. We also have 2 kids fishing rods/reels available - be sure to get your fishing license for use!
Pet Friendly - pets less than 40 lbs - additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. Pets must be disclosed in advance. Fee is per pet. (Max 1 pets) All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee. Any damages from the pet are not covered by the limited damage waiver.
Certain Boats, RV's or Trailers may be allowed - there is an area for parking them. Must be approved in advance, based on size.
Propane is not provided. If there is some left from a prior guest, that's great. Otherwise you can take the tank provided and swap it out at a local grocery or hardware store. We also do not provide firewood. There are many places around to purchase it if you decide to use the firepit!
**Parties are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Noise Aware as noted in the booking agreement.

Overall, def a 4.5 for the property as a whole. The fenced back yard was great for the pups, although it needed a good debris removal for several dead branches and such. And patio furniture showed some strain from weathering. But the layout of the house is very family-friendly and spacious. We managed to sit 6 comfortably at the little kitchen nook table that looks like it should only seat four. But it worked out just fine. We had a couple of repair concerns and the property manager replied quickly and immediately. Beds were acceptable for rentals. Plenty of lounging space in the great room if not the utmost comfy, we made it work. Could use another ottoman for kicking back in there, but we don’t mind being cozy so we enjoyed our family nights. Green Cove is a quaint little town and we enjoyed the location, central for us having friends and family to the N, S and E of there. Guests have access to the entire garage, so theoretically you could park inside it. But we brought a ping pong table and played round after round inside. The house is a bit sparsely decorated, but it was appointed well enough. Overall we were very pleased with our experience.

We used this home for our post-wedding retreat due to the location of the venue. It was perfect. Clean, plenty of room, large quiet back yard with more outdoor seating. The kids were very comfortable and everyone slept well.
