About this apartment rental
Villa Ricetro is a complex of 3 independent flats located in Montemagno in the Tuscan hills near Camaiore at the top of a hill ridge separating the Tyrrhenian Sea from the Apuan Alps. The altitude of 300 metres and the proximity to the sea make it a place with an ideal climate.
All around the house are woods and olive groves and absolute peace. The small village of Montemagno is 1 km away and can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
In Montemagno there are two excellent restaurants a bar and a minimarket.
The house is on 2 levels and is arranged as follows:
- on the ground floor there is a living room with 2 sofas, one of which is a sofa bed for two people and a TV corner (TV with international channels, wifi), a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a utility room with washing machine.
- On the upper floor there is a very spacious double bedroom and a room with two single beds and a sofa bed suitable for a boy.
The two rooms have a beautiful view of the coast and the sea, on a clear day you can see the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and Corsica.
The rustic-elegant furnishings have many antiques. The shared saltwater swimming pool is located in a separate area just a few metres from the house and in a panoramic position.
The three houses on the property were created from the careful restoration of the agricultural outbuildings of a 17th century farm villa.
This flat is ideal for 6 persons.
Outside you will find:
- a private space where you can eat with your family;
- a shared space with the people of the other 2 flats, if any, with a barbecue area.
- a shared space with a very spacious swimming pool and jacuzzi.

- Il Girasole (property code 10699839) is the combination of Francesca 1 and Francesca 2 to accommodate 10 people.
- The entire Villa Ricetro (property code 6878844) for total privacy also on the entire outdoor area and can accommodate up to 16 people.

A large family holiday with 5 teens, we enjoyed our stay in this pretty and quiet area and the pool was much appreciated by everyone.

An amazing, beautiful and very peaceful spot. Francesca 2 is a great, spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment with some rustic and some period features. The views from the bedrooms are fantastic as are the ones over the hills from the swimming pool. The pool is set in cosy and well arranged grounds. There is an outdoor shower and a second bbq. The main bbq is in the garden. The warm hospitality and availability of the hosts, Alessandro and Francesca, really made our stay special and relaxed. At the bottom of the hill there are a couple of restaurants definitely worth the visit. Pisa, Lucca, the sea and the surrounding area are easily accessible by car. Will be recommending to all.

It was a great holiday and we enjoyed our week in Francesca 2 and 3 very much. The appartements are lovely and we found everything there was needed for a perfect vacacion with our children. As the weather was hot during our visit we used the swimming pool very much. Francesca and Alessandro are perfect and warm hosts and we hope to meet them again.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to. It is an old farmhouse which has been meticulously renovated with attention to every detail possible. It is a true gem in the Tuscan hills not far from the beach resort Viareggio and Lido di Camaiore. It is important to have a car as the village is quite small but has two fantastic restaurants. We simply loved every moment of our holiday and would like to extend a huge thank you to the kind and hospitable hosts.
