The Peter Bay Honeymoon Suite is a romantic 1BR/1BA villa overlooking the breathtaking Caribbean panoramas of St. John's north shore. Located at the exclusive gated community of Peter Bay Estate, the Peter Bay Honeymoon Suite occupies the lower level of the Peter Bay Gatehouse Villa which consists of two 1BRs. The lower level suite is the Honeymoon Suite, and the upper level suite is the Penthouse Suite. Each suite is private, and self-contained with separate entrances. The Penthouse Suite, and the Honeymoon Suite can each accommodate an additional two guests in the living room queen sleeper sofa. Both the Honeymoon Suite and the Penthouse Suite can be rented together as a 2BR / 2BA.
At the Peter Bay Honeymoon suite, you are surrounded by the pristine turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and emerald green hills known as St. John's north shore. From the spacious balcony and living room and your views from the Peter Bay Honeymoon Suite are exquisite, and very special.
The Peter Bay Gatehouse, architecturally designed in the old-world style of a 17th century Danish Mill Tower, as seen at the Annaberg & Catherineberg historical sites, is a St. John landmark as the historical period Gatehouse is located at the gate entrance to the exclusive Peter Bay Estate community, overlooking the majestic U.S. & British Virgin Islands.
Within this Danish Tower design, The Honeymoon Suite is a spacious 1000 sq ft. 1BR/1BA designed in old-world elegance. The comfortable living room, and large exterior balcony look out to the magnificent Caribbean. The lovely bedroom with its curved walls taking on the circular shape of the exterior mill design has a romantic, king size four poster bed. There is a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, and alfresco dining on the ocean view balcony with a dining table for 4. The spacious bathroom with garden shower is designed in beautiful island stone & classic tile.

The gatehouse is a unique and stunning property located in one of the best locations on St John (in our opinion). The spectacular views from the balcony and windows just can’t be emphasized enough. They are incredible and will not disappoint. If peace and tranquility is your goal, sipping coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening on the balcony while gazing at the azure blue sea and the green of the mountain backdrop all while being serenaded by the birds and frogs and rustling leaves of the trees…..this is the place for you. There are no blinds or curtains on the 7 beautiful arched mahogany and glass windows and doors in the bedroom, and as the sun rises each morning it peaks over Tortola, and into your windows and awakens you to start your day! The sunrises are outstanding (but no sleeping in, lol).The private beach is amazing, and truly private… no one else was there! But you are so close (only minutes) to several other gorgeous public beaches, Trunk, Hawksnest, Maho and Cinnamon. Everything we needed was supplied, including washer/dryer, snorkeling equipment, and beach chairs to borrow. Tommy was a sheer delight to meet and a wealth of knowledge on the island. He’s a gem of a guy! The only thing we saw that could be improved upon is some refreshing of some of the decor and furnishings as a few things getting a little worn, but that comes with age and use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the gatehouse and look forward to staying here again and again!

The Gatehouse Honeymoon property was perfect for my husband and I. The view was stunning from the deck and bedroom. The property manager was super friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location was perfect , located between Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay making it easy to get to the beach for the day. We didn't use the bedroom air conditioning because there was a lovely breeze every night.

The Honeymoon suite was very comfortable. The views are fantastic! We had a private chef come in and he found the kitchen to be adequate to provide the service. Tommy was an exceptional point of contact and helped out with any questions or concerns we had in a prompt manner. Richard the owner was very communicative as well. Would definitely again.

We were pleased with the excellent location, beautiful views from the spacious veranda and lovely private beach. The property manager and owner were very responsive, and we appreciated being met at the ferry. However, during a hard rain the first night, we had puddles in the bedroom and bathroom and the bathroom counter was soaked. Per the owner, this can happen occasionally with heavy rains, but we were not warned ahead of time. In addition, the indoor space would benefit from a refresh, including better/more inviting lighting and patching/painting a wall with cracks in the bedroom.
