About this cabin rental
Shoal Sound is located on DuPont Road with easy access to the miles of trails and breathtaking waterfalls of DuPont Forest. We are only 10 miles from downtown Brevard and Hendersonville. The cabin offers all you could need to relax or rest after a day of adventure. We have WIFI, Smart TV with local TV stream app, comfortable beds and a large porch to just sit and relax
Bedroom one has a king size bed with a comfortable mattress and linens, smart TV, Grandmas wardrobe closet, and an antique dresser. The ensuite bathroom is spacious and has a walk in shower.
Bedroom two has two twin beds with comfortable mattresses and linens. The second bathroom is just outside the door.
The living and dining area features a gas log fireplace, large entertainment center containing games, books, and a large smart TV.
The kitchen has all the features you would want and expect have to make your stay like being at home. All appliances are new - large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, farm sink, granite counter tops, coffee maker, Keurig, and microwave. If something is missing, let us know, and we'll get it. We spared no expense to create a beautiful kitchen for you to enjoy.
The porch is sure to be a favorite of guests. Listen to the sound of Shoal Falls from the swing or rockers. (SHOAL FALLS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE FROM CABIN) We even put a dining table on the porch for you to enjoy the surroundings. A small porch off the back has a small table and a park style charcoal grill.

We had an excellent stay at this cabin. It was clean and everything we needed was there! The host has thought of everything. It is very peaceful. And located so close to DuPont Forest and lots of waterfalls and hiking trails. We had almost every meal on the front porch!

We had an amazing time at Shoal Sound. The cabin was perfect with such charm and character that we fell in love with it. Every attention to detail shows the dedication to make this a home away from home.The location was amazing. We visited 14 waterfalls in just over two days. We highly recommend journeying to Pisgah and DuPont forests, but don't forget the unbeaten paths as well. Spending time among the trees and rushing waters is one of our favorite past times.

Host was amazing, living space and beds were comfortable, the well stocked fire pit was the best. Great location close to every thing we wanted to do. Will be back for sure.

Nice place but host advertises fire pit but doesn’t let us use it on a perfect Spring night because she is a worry wort that it may cause a fire. She claimed there was a fire ban when there was only a warning and then had an attitude (making things worse) about it when I told her there was no ban after I researched it (I even called the local fire department which confirmed no fire ban in place). Either advertise the fire pit and let people use it or don’t have it if you’re worried it may cause a fire. Also, poor communication when checking in. Disappointment of the poor attitude, poor communication, and lack of the ability to use what is advertised.
