House built in the 60's is the family retreat at weekends.
It is 5 km from the historic center of Amarante, 35 min. of Porto and 40 Kms from Régua and Vila Real.
The space is great for couples and families with children, allowing you to rest and enjoy the beautiful views of the Serra do Marão.
In Amarante you can enjoy parks, art, culture and sports, good restaurants with typical gastronomy and conventual sweets and enjoy the region's green wine.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Olga and Paulo were incredible hosts! They took the time to ensure we had everything we needed and answer our questions about the property and local town. This cottage was exactly what we expected. Quiet, well supplied and with absolutely gorgeous views. It was a perfect location to visit several small towns in the local area and to rest and recharge. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

Beautiful little house 10 minutes from Amarante, very well equipped (but without a filter coffee maker) with a nice view. However, it's very poorly located on a road that provides access to neighboring towns, which is very busy from early morning to evening. The bed in the second bedroom cracks at the slightest movement. The barking of dogs belonging to the immediate neighbors can be heard regularly, without their owners doing anything. Changes are needed to give this property its true value to the future guests.

Olga and Paulo are very good hosts and very helpful in every situation. The house was very well equiped, we liked it very much to stay there. It is a very good location to explore the north of Portugal. The only little thing to know is that the house is located on a through road. But we didn't feel disturb because during the day we have made trips and in the night there was only little traffic.

We stayed with two couples for 14 days at this lovely house. Olga and Paulo were fabulous hosts and gave us countless of wonderful tips on what to do and where to eat. Communication was flawless.
Check in was easy and Paulo greeted us with a bottle of wine and fresh pastry specific to the region.
The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed.
AC in the two master bedrooms, the LR, and the DR was appreciated. As a pleasant surprise we had a house cleaning and fresh bed sheets after one week.
The garden is beautiful and outdoor furniture invite to lounge and hang out.
The house is located on a small road, however the amount of traffic surprised us.
Lidl in Amarante (10 min drive) was convenient and we fell in love with this beautiful town.
This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the Douro Valley and Porto region.
