Just 500m from the beaches, a few minutes walk from the center and less than 5 km from the famous Santa Margherita is this lovely apartment on the second floor of a small residential complex. This is certainly the best choice for an unforgettable vacation. The natural beauties of the coast will take you to Portofino, one of the most famous pearls of Liguria. Genoa, with the largest aquarium in Europe, is only 30 km away. From there you can explore the Cinque Terre by boat. For trekking lovers, there are many hiking trails and excursions in the inland forests in the area, which allow you to reach on foot or by public transport Portofino and the small village of San Michele di Pagana, famous for its crystal clear waters. Just 500 meters away you can play golf and tennis at a prestigious club.

A Wonderful Stay with a Few Small Suggestions We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment! The hosts were exemplary—warm, welcoming, and full of great tips for exploring the area. Their empathy and hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is spectacular: just steps from the beach, the historic center, and the train station. We left our car parked (guest parking available!) the whole time because the train made it so easy to explore the region—highly recommend trips between Sestri and Genoa for a scenic and affordable day out. Inside, the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. If we could suggest two small improvements, a larger coffee maker (for those of us who need a little extra in the morning!) and updated mattresses would make it even better. That said, everything else was perfect, and these were minor points in an otherwise flawless stay. We loved it so much that we’ll definitely be back—this apartment is a true gem for anyone visiting the area!

Due to weather warnings the owners said that we had to check in a day later than we had reserved. This resulted in the added expense of another night in our current lodging before arrival which wouldn't have been upsetting, except that the owners refused to refund us the day that we lost with them. The beds were horrendous! Old with terrible indentations and in desperate need of replacement. The weather was changing and getting colder, and the heater didn't work. All of the communication outside of the VRBO account was concerning for safety reasons.
