Cottage easy access, very quiet and comfort.

Had a lovely time staying here only spoiled by the very awkward steps into the property which is supposed to wheelchair accessible other than that I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful “Quinta” for couples, families with children etc older relatives may struggle with acces also Internet isn’t always available but overall in a nice setting with lots of animals to keep you amused.

The house is directly in the nature. It is in a valley, so you should have some driving skills, since the driveway is pretty steep. Around the house you will find your "garden". It is really big, so you will need about half an hour to walk around everything. There even is a little creek, so you can cool your feet. At the property there live a small cute and cosy cat, sheep and 2 big dogs (they are very nice and happy to have visitors). It is calming to have the dogs around, since in the night the place is a bit lonely. I was a bit afraid, since you would hear the neighbor dogs barking in the middle of the night and craking noises around the house. The house itself is seperated into several own little buildings. That is to say the kitchen is not directly in the house and the second bathroom neither. Every room has it's own key, so you will have to keep them with you all the time, since we were told we should always close the doors. There is a living rooms with sofa and tv. The kitchen is really well equipped and there even is a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. The bathrooms as well as the bed rooms are very comfortable and stylish (the stone walls are adorable). The best part however is the balcony/terrace. There is a hammock and you have sun for the whole noon-afternoon. We could sit there for hours and watch the sun and the mountains. There is heating and air-conditioning inside the house. For leisure, there isn't much you can do in the area, if you are not interested in nature. There are only small villages around and it is pretty quiet. For nature people however this is the best place to be. There are plenty of hiking paths around. One can e.g. visit very nice waterfalls and walk by the river. We will definitely come back!
