As usual we had a great week staying in this gite, extremely well placed just off from the centre of the village, and with a garden - after ski-ing the boys loved playing in the snow building igloos etc.

"We have just returned from a fatastic weeks stay in Le Grand Bornand. It was our third year there but our first in Chalet Les Aravis but certainly not our last. The appartment was beautifully decorated, with great amenities and in a fantastic location. We can't wait to go back next year."

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay in le grand bornand. The setting is amazing. Beautiful alpine village with all that you need on your doorstep. Shady walks up the mountain and along the river. Very family orientated. The chalet was lovely. Immaculate and very nicely decorated. Views of the mountains from the enclosed terrace (safe to let dogs and small children wander). Events are held in the square most nights - kiddie dancercise, bands etc which seem to hold to a strict curfew so usually over at about 9/10. After that very quiet at night. Proprietor was very helpful and available if necessary in the upstairs part of the chalet. We will definately go back!
