The 5th century walled town of Lagos has many historic buildings (including some dating back to Roman times) to explore. Rent a kayak and paddle around the grottoes and sea caves, or if you're feeling really adventurous try sky diving at Lagos Aerodrome.

Large, airy apartment, wonderful view across Lagos and some ocean. Quiet building, close to Pingo Doce and lots of restaurants along the marina. Short walk across bridge into old town. I would go back there any time.
