Mas Guitart is a typical 16th century Catalan farmhouse belonging to the Guitart family for many generations. It is located in the heart of nature, 1 km from the small town of Galliners, belonging to the municipality of Vilademuls, in the Pla de l'Estany district, province of Girona
Although it is located in a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, at the same time it is very well connected and easy to reach, through two roads of special importance: the N-II national highway and the AP-7 motorway.
Mas Guitart has large outdoor spaces, with pool, barbecue, outdoor furniture and playground. Large centenary trees shelter us with their shade in the warmer days of summer ...

A very quiet rural property with a large terrace and grounds, including a pool. Apartment was large and well equipped. A fantastic stay. Only problem was GPS and Google maps couldn't locate it. It took a while to find and the villa streets nearby are very narrow.

This is an excellent choice if you desire peace and quiet in a lovely setting. The back deck overlooks the countryside and we love seeing the goats graze no more than 100 meters away. We grilled outdoors every night and we swam every evening before dinner. We were not comfortable going out to dinner in Bascara, the nearest town with restaurants 6 kilometers away, as it would entail driving home on the country roads after a glass of wine or two so we bought great wine and food every night and gladly cooked outside. Our host were onsite and super helpful. We were 20-30 minutes from Girona and 20 minutes from Banyoles, both of which are full of restaurants for lunch.

Was a lovely country stay after 2 weeks of city stays. It was just the break we needed. Place has everything you need and the pool was great. Dispite being on the property with others it was very private. We were especially happy to spend time patting the two calm dogs who spend their days laying in the yard. Its a short drive to some great sites in Besalu, and Figures as well as Girona. Highly recommended.
