About this house rental
Located in Gosier, near the town center, “Case GILI” is in the heart of the “Butterfly Island.” Its location and layout make it an ideal place to stay for exploring both Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre.
Built entirely of wood in a Balinese style, this bungalow is perfect for couples.
The “CASE GILI” bungalow is brand-new; I designed and conceived it myself. It’s fully optimized so that the bedroom, living room, and kitchen surround the terrace.
CASE GILI consists of a single enclosed, air-conditioned room—a spacious bedroom featuring a lounge area. And yes, in Guadeloupe we live outdoors all year round—it’s such a pleasure...
The bathroom is located outside, allowing you to shower under the stars. Everything is designed to ensure complete privacy.
The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dining area, is sheltered by a wooden structure and opens completely onto the terrace.
As for the terrace, it’s covered and features a very comfortable seating area. It’s the perfect spot to sip a mojito or enjoy a ti-punch (sugar, a slice of lemon, and rum) when you return from an outing.
In Gosier, you’ll find one of the island’s liveliest beaches, “DATCHA” Beach, which faces Gosier Islet. With its proximity to the surrounding islands, you can explore Les Saintes, Marie Galante, and Îlet Cochon from this town.
The marina, located a 5-minute drive away, is one of the liveliest on the island; its restaurants, bars, and aquarium are sure to delight you.
A secure parking lot provides space for one car.
You’ll be a 10-minute walk from Anse Vinaigri, and less than a 3-minute drive away, you’ll find a bakery, an organic grocery store, a gas station, a Leclerc supermarket, and a pharmacy.

So relaxing. Your own little world with hummingbirds and hot and cold running lizards. Comfortable bedroom and everything else outdoor living, including the welcome rainwater shower. A small beach, boulangerie and garage shop for basics within easy walk but car recommended. Charming host.
