About this villa rental
Villa Sardagna, located in Blevio, on the eastern shore of Lake Como in front of Cernobbio, is a luxuriously restored eighteenth-century historical villa. Immersed in a perfectly maintained park, it is the ideal solution for a totally relaxing holiday in the enchanting landscape of Lake Como. The private swimming pool, recently built, together with exclusive sunbathing areas, are made with natural materials of the highest quality. The long restoration carried out by the property using antique and modern furnishings and fine fabrics guarantees respect for the atmosphere of the beginning of the eighteenth century, typical of the Lombardy villas without neglecting any comfort.
A large and exclusive annexe with private access to the lake is available on request for a further two guests.
Always on request a few steps from the villa there is boat rental without license, lake limousine taxi, restaurant with terrace overlooking the lake, water skiing and wakeboarding. Moreover: trekking with breathtaking views on the paths of the Larian hills, seaplane service, specialized tour guide and assisted bicycle rental on site. Given the strategic position of Villa Sardagna, the well-known luxury shopping destinations are easily reachable within a few minutes by car: Milan, Como and the Fox Town of Mendrisio.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sardagna. The host was very helpful and responsive leading up to our stay and throughout, and the property was very well kept and clean. I definitely would recommend staying here if you are visiting Lake Como.

Villa Sardagna was absolutely beautiful! You will not be disappointed by the villa, the grounds or the stunning lake setting. Michele and the staff took excellent care of us and we were spoiled from start to finish.
I was a little concerned after reading one of the reviews shortly before we arrived that mentioned we would be sharing the house with the owners. It is true that the house is divided, but it was not an issue. We never knew they were there unless we needed something.
Villa Sardagna is truly magical! You will love it!

A lovely house right on the shore of Lake Como, we stayed for 3 nights.
You rent half of the house and the owners stay in the other half, so it's a bit like a large gite. This is fine though as sometimes you need some help with the local amenities, but it's just not made clear in the listing.
There's boat hire and a restaurant next door, and a delicatessen in the town at the top which is great.
Pros: lovely house, gardens and pool
Owners are very nice and helpful, Sergio is rightly proud of his restoration of the house.
Aircon in the bedrooms is really good
Beautiful view of the lake
Cons:
The housekeeper was quite bullish and walked in on my wife when she was in the shower even though we told her to leave that room alone (in Italian) beforehand. So that was a bit weird.
Daily housekeeping just isn't necessary and is usually left until after you've checked out to ensure privacy.
Overall though I would definitely recommend this property as it really is a beautiful house in a great location, and the host and his son were really nice and helpful.
